We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.
It is possible for me the banks to offer this service in the group near the future once Bitcoin is already fully adopted. I think the value of the interest will be be in bitcoin if fiat currency is already not available in the market.

Smart ones will, I'm sure some of them already do! Maybe Japan or S. Korea as most user friendly crypto markets.

Are you sure that those banks are really into digital cryptocurrencies now? Well I also have a strong feeling that banks will soon accepting bitcoin and other altcoins as their currencies too. It will surely happen in the near future.

Why would you want to deposit your bitcoins in a bank? What would be the point of this for them or you? I think the people who want to do this are missing the whole point of bitcoin. Bitcoin allows you be your own bank and not having to trust or rely on a third party to look after your money for you, nor do they get to invest your hard earned money whilst paying you pittance in interest.

This will be good news for the crypto world, but how many of us will choose to deposit in the bank with fixed interest for a year while leaving it in your wallet can give you more profit.

I'm not sure that this situation is possible. Bitcoin is very poorly suited to formal banking operations. And banks will not spend energy and money on adapting their system.

The clash of both will make it difficult to unite them and for the next few years it will not be easy to happen

I've been thinking about that for a while and I think that this is not the worst decision for banks to make because if cryptocurrency will replace the existing economic system they need to do something in order to stay on top.

One of the rules for most banks is not to operate in speculative or unregulated business ventures, until bit coin and crypto currencies fall under some forms of regulation banks will generally avoid or limit their participation  in it.

this may place even extra strain on legislators to come up with complete plans for regulating a brand new asset elegance. A bank accepting bitcoin sounds pretty uncommon; but, it makes overall sense when you see it from a purchaser’s angle. as an example, Skandiabanken currently introduced it plans to offer customers the capability to link bank money owed to cryptocurrency holdings.

You know something as the day advanced day by people is more connected to each other by using many apps. Its all happen because of technology. Technology opens many doors for us as it gives us wisdom.NOW the main thing is that will ever bank our bitcoin so the answer is yes no doubt. There are many developed countries in the world who have to accept bitcoin as a modern currency.
So we see if many countries can allow bitcoin in their countries then soon or later all the countries in the world all accept it. So right now many banks and many countries are not allowed bitcoin because they don’t understand that things one day as days passes they will also depend on cryptocurrencies like bitcoin rather use fiat currencies.

My quick answer is: probably yes. Why yes? Well, because banks need to adapt to the new technologies, and banks can actually get profit accepting deposit on bitcoin, and from my point of view, it is better for government since this way allows them to know who holds bitcoin. And why not? this answer can apply for the other cryptocurrencies.

That's true, they invest in stable markets where they can make lots of money. Crypto is to unpredictable.

My answer is yes. Some already accept btc, but some are still in the process of studying the advantages and disadvantages on adding bitcoin on their banking system. For me i agree on this thing, it will be more easier for us bitcoin users to deposits and to withdraw, i think it will be more secure if you store your bitcoin in banks than in online wallets.

A ton of organizations currently are receiving this sort of innovation and making benefit since from the specific begin. Perhaps multi day banks will understand the enormous potential and benefit that the Bitcoin and digital currency offers, its simply a question of time before dominant part of them may join the pattern so lets trust so.

I love depositing my fiat to the banks and they are making money with it but if its bitcoin. I don't think I would avail this service but there's a possibility that it will come and they will be targeting those bitcoin investors/holders that doesn't really understand on what bitcoin is, being your own bank. They might attract those type investors by saying that their bitcoins will be safe on their hands. We know on how the banks are doing well in making money.

I dont think if that would be happen. Maybe it takes time for this to be happen but we hope someday it will happen because it saves time and energy. We hope that bitcoi will be fully develop so that it will be a less hassle for the transaction to everyone. And i think if banks will offer that it will be more secure and protect the money for its easy and convinient transaction.

I think as time goes on, there will a period when banks will not have no option than to accept BTC or in general, crypto deposits. A typical incident is what MasterCard is adopting atm. They are allowing both cash are crypto deposit and to be used to make payments in online markets.

There is a big possibility that the banks may offer bitcoin deposits someday when some countries may take crypto currency seriously. We cannot predict the future,  even of some other countries declared it as illegal but there are chances that others may take it as legal one since btc really have a brighter future.

Banks are not emotional to anything and they thing logically, so if they would have an interest of their own to offer bitcoin depositis than they would not hesitate to do it.
