hello...

do you know what is happening with bter???

they do not free my nxt coins since more than 12 hours ago when bter received them...

is this a "corralito"?  ??
just wait and email them

thank you for your answer

yeah, i did it to custemer@bter.com, but,  it is not supposed to be just one minute since they receive the coins??? it is done in an authomatically way...i dont understad what is going on with them...

Do they work in batches, maybe? I know DGEX does.

Go to "My funds" and in the same line where NXT is there are links. Go to "sync" and wait 1-2 min. Later try to refresh that page. This helped me, I had now problems with depositing NXT in BTER.

Is there a manual somewhere how to set up Nxt on a cubietruck?
runs "out of box" on the cubie. Just install and update with latest NXT version. (I haven't come around to have it auto-update itself yet)

BTW, behold here a quick shot of my solar cubie Wink

PIC

I'll follow up with more info soon

 Shocked

That's fantastic, great Job!

Now make a manual for this on Nxt Wiki and put in some nice pictures.

want it Shocked

This is

a) brilliant and beautiful
b) a very good promo pic.

Posted as First look at a Nxt high-end forging rig!

@NxtChoice: Better remove the protective screen from the case plates, so it actually becomes transparent Smiley

No, seriously, what kind of output such a tiny solar panel has? Especially on a cloudy day like in the picture.

What are you using it for?

It's a high-weight hallmark NXT node (raspnxt.hopto.org).

The panel has an output of 3-4W in direct sunlight. That'd be more than enough to run the cubie at full load with full core clock. However, below the panel (in the badass cardboard case I made Cheesy) is a 2Ah LiPoly that acts as a buffer. I also use external power from a USB hub now that it's winter, but in summer this should be capable of running autonomously with some more tweaks and lower clocks.

Wow, need to pay more attention to technology... Stuff really progressed in efficiency.

Then indeed it's a very good PR pic, especially when paired with a typical bitcoin GPU farm Smiley

What do you think about running android on it?
Which Linux would be the best to run on a cubietruck? (I have absolutely no experience with linux at all)

Thank you. As it arrived, I assembled it and found it's not so transparent as PMMA. I thought it a little strange, and until last Saturday I found there is  protective film cover Smiley  I will take some pictures and then update it when I return back home.

BTW, why I can't link dropbox images here? So I now link the images from weibo.com .

It came with Android preinstalled actually, but, I don't know... I see no point in using Android for anything else than what it's meant to do: to present one interactive application full screen. For the batch/daemon/server stuff I do with the cubie, a classical Linux seems more appropriate.

There are several attempts at providing an easy flash-and-run distro for the cubietruck, but most of them failed when I tried them out. The one that seems most compatible is Lubuntu, which I also use atm. Of course, one could also always compile a custom kernel and use whatever distro fits their needs.

Strange, as my image is precisely hosted on Dropbox. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Is colon missing on purpose on the third panel? "NXT Generation Green"? Makes it look like a typo.

And please, bigger font.

I got it that you link is  "https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8099076/NXT/solarcubie1.JPG", but I got my image from dropbox and the link is "http://www.dropbox.com/*******", while your link is from "dl.dropboxusercontent.com". When I used that link, this forum can't display it.

- an API which by passing an asset id to show all accounts owning qtys of the asset

What r u going to use it for?

Lets talk about this... This is the point where I start to get concerned.  At first I thought that to view an accounts qty of each different asset would require to provide the accounts passphrase, and not just be able to to use the public acct #.

But face it, cant the blockchain be scanned for this data anyways?  And we can already do a singleAPI call for any account's NXT balance as well.

So Do we really gain anything by not providing the data?

you could easily see who owns your Tokens...would be really neat.

That's why I asking. An asset owner doesn't need current situation, he needs it at some particular blockchain height, so the API request should have block height as an input parameter.

My Nxt CubieTruck ran very well in the last 10 days.

The fact that we can run a forging Nxt client on a Pi is amazing.  Running on a solar powered Pi is mind boggling!
