so in a few days, we'll also be on vircurex.  next week nexern release.  interesting times.

Yeah, I'm sure there will be more big announcement in the coming weeks.  Nxt is still very early stage and a good value in my opinion.  Wait until we take over the SR market, which will be soon.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Actually I am still not 100% sure how it happend. We came to the conclusion that it must be a Keylogger/trojan BUT then they would have had access to many online wallets and exchanges, and ONLY my NXT accounts were compromised. So overall strange, but it could have been avoided with using Linux or upping my Windows security.

You followed a link from this user, who deleted his posts:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=120275

And you downloaded hacked program from this newbie:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=170751;sa=showPosts
What is this about?  It is not clear from the links.

BTW.  I take it as policy to delete old postings that are no longer relevant.  Why not?

Well, i got hacked, and he states the 2 links that i used before i was hacked.

Thanks! Please put the hashes of the files there as well so we can verify their integrity.

Edit: Nevermind me, I clicked on the overview and saw them. Great work. Looks awesome!

NXT VPS Server Donations can be sent here: 6044921191674841550
At the end of each month I will donate some of them back to the community.
This is separate from my main wallet so you can keep track of them. I will keep them in there and only use them for hosting.

If you take a look, you will see the hashes in the table below. But maybe I will add them to the download button, too. I already tried it, but it fucked up my design.

So, apparently FrictionlessCoin has given up on the NXT source altogether now.

I'm updating the clients on NeXTcoin.org, too. So, don't be afraid. Wink
You can google every SHA-256 and it will match to the developer's release.

well people are already familiar with "@" connecting things so it might carry over.

I think it's perfect. It means "at 12342342" and shows what exactly "at" that address.

It's also somewhat similar to twitter.

And then we can use tags like this:

avatar@12312039
website@2342349

Ok - you've persuaded me.

Although as a nxt user I would still like to see my one and only identifier being 'notsoshifty', which I can hand to anybody in a variety of contexts, and which they can use to find my account, my avatar, my email/twitter/facebook, etc. Behind the scenes this should be an alias that is owned by an account that I control, and is defined using a mixture of simple and complex URLs (and possibly some AMs and other aliases and externally hosted images).

That is:
 - from an alias you find my account and my avatar (and my email etc)

Not:
 - from an account you find my avatar

Nice. Need hashes. Also why does "home", "Downloads", etc look like it has rough edges?

Wait until we take over the SR market, which will be soon.

+1! Once the marketplace is added Nxt will spawn a hundred SRs. The original SR was like the Napster of underground marketplaces - Nxt will be the Bittorent.

You could just blacklist everything that comes out of the mixer.

All transactions r supposed to come thru the mixer.

That would be a good catalyst. Smiley

I don't even dare to think about how big it would be if we implemented anonymous / impossible to trace buys like what ZeroCoin is dreaming of
