Now the NXT that originally was in the first NXT acct has been teleported to the new NXT acct without anyway for anybody to do more than a statistical random guess as to where the NXTcash that funded the new account came from
This sounds fantastic. But either you didn't explain how this really works with Nxt or I'm not smart enough to recognize the explanation I had to gloss over the nitty gritty details as they are not totally finalized yet, plus you did ask for simple explanation. I tried to abstract out the relevant parts. Mapping the zerocoin.org instructions on how to integrate zerocoin into bitcoin blockchain was kind of helpful, but it leaves a lot of details out as to how to actually do it. Add to this, the constraint of not changing the NXT core, but still working with current NXT blockchain And we know the zeroknowledge proofs are crazy big and also time consuming to calculate Suffice it to say that a lot of thought is going into how best to solve this and the first internal release made us realize that we were not totally on the right path. However, this is by design. For complex problems that I cant see all the way to the finish line, I opt to just go in the general direction of the solution. From there, course correction toward the final goal. Rinse and repeat. As long as each iteration is getting closer, you will soon get to where you can see the finish line. At that point, fully solve all the details with the experience gained. It is similar to playing chess. You really cant see all the way to the final checkmate. However, you can use your experience to guide you and avoid obvious mistakes. Keep making the best move within your powers, each and every move and at some point you will be able to solve it all the way to checkmate. unless your opponent does it to your first! thank goodness software usually doesnt fight back James

Than say what you think and dont let us guesse.
We need more core devs. Exactly this. A big project like NXT should at least have 5 active core developers for the next months. Hoarders should pay up if they want their NXT to become worth anything. Don't we have unclaimed funds for this? To say that Hoarders should pay up isn't productive. We need a budget, list of developers, timeline, etc.. Perhaps you can organize this Uniqueron? If someone gets this on the move, shows organization, has a well thought budget, has candidates that are well vouched for with good credentials... see the work that needs to be done? You can't just say "show me the money!" With that said, there should be a team dedicated to hunting talent. I'd pony up some Nxt if this looked like it was a serious organized effort and good talent was brought in. Having a solid core team is crucial. This would be a great job for nxttechdev team, also there should be alocated unclaimed coins for this. this said, CfB you told us DEV costs was covered why this turn over?

2. No, but if the only changes u want to do is changing the genesis block then u'll trigger a trap
I am really interested to see if/how those planning to clone Nxt will get past this obstacle. Do you mean, that NEM will never appear?

I have 5 friends that invested in NXT.
After 4 months they still don't know how to get a working client / opening an account. They only see the software of JL where you have to create a .bat file which is hard for them.
They ask me all the time when a descent client is coming out what is safe and where they can create an account and forge etc. I don't tell them, because I think they have to find them by themselves.
They are still waiting so I think we are doing something wrong here.
I can only speak for OS X. Wesleyh's client has been a great app since day one. For other alt coins, I can't tell you how many times I haven't had luck getting the thing synced and wasted hours fucking around -- adding nodes, adding a .conf file, etc.

At some point a bunch of devs are going to have the "aha" moment that Nxt is the leanest blockchain possible and that Nxt provides the most competitive advantages of any available cryptocurrency platform.
At that point, this thread would explode. It would be like the Twitter servers crashing because of the Oscars retweets.
Do we/can we have separate Client Bug Report Threads because I am forging on Offspring, was sent NXT, and Offspring shows no update in balance like the Blockchain Explorer does. This is the type of comment/bug report that each dev needs to be monitoring individual Bug Report Threads for. How do we get this done?
Hi, I make Offspring there is an issue list here https://bitbucket.org/incentivetoken/offspring-public/issues please report your bug there and include the version number, I'll help you solve it there. Please make sure you have the latest version 0.3.1e https://bitbucket.org/incentivetoken/offspring-public/downloads

26......I must get out more. See Outsidetm
Went outside, did not like. Back indoors, reading monster thread. No idea what is going on, but we seem to be doing something right: www.coinmarketcap.comThere are only 3 alts showing green in the top 20, and guess which one has made the most gains on a bad day for everyone else? (I'll give u a clue, its not Auroracoin.... ) To the moon, kids. I will, as usual post a lot more blah, blah really soon. In the meantime, go the the marketing thread and check out what is happening for the Amsterdam BTC conference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=412243.msg5492453#msg5492453And someone buy me a Tesla Roadster, please: http://www.teslamotors.com/nl_NL/roadsterIt's for a good cause....yeah, white is OK. things level out in Ukraine, Putin not quite so Hiterly today. Is that a proper tense? or is it Hitlerish? Anyways, (Das) Kapital stopped flooding to BTC, and we see a little drop. but NXT hodls.

If Nxt becomes gets more popular, it will be easier to attract new developers. Either that, or we can add some of the people involved in writing clients (like wesley) to the core team. The developers must be trusted.

I would suggest 250k Nxt for each member from unclaimed.

Just got a call from an outside investor who is interested in using the Asset Exchange for issuing Assets for his new project.
Was looking to set up his own alt to start this up, but is now véry interested in the possibilities of Nxt.
I'm having a talk with him on Saturday.
I may have to draw on the knowledge of some of our devs to contact his devs to see how the two systems will mesh.
