Look forward to the source code and the white paper. When will the white paper be published? It's said that cunicula is writing the white paper, but we don't know how is going on and it seems that cunicula was online six days ago.
Dunno about cunicula. Maybe after the holidays.

The client seems to eat more and more memory over time. Anyone else noticed that?

NXT VPS Server Donations can be sent here: 6044921191674841550At the end of each month I will donate some of them back to the community. This is separate from my main wallet so you can keep track of them. I will keep them in there and only use them for hosting.

Empty node queue!
Just deployed 2 nodes to Brazil! That's node91-node92.
That's 93 nodes in 10 different geographic locations!
Up nxt: awaiting sponsorship of remaining 7 nodes!
Status
Nodes deployed: 92 Vanity nodes deployed: 1 Nodes queued: 0
10 data centers: Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Northern VA, Hong Kong, Sydney, London, Toyko, Oregon, Sao Paolo
Sponsorship
Only 8 nodes left for 100 public nodes. To reach the goal of by Jan 3, we need only 22'500 nxt in additional sponsorship! That's just 7.5 nodes worth. Please sponsor now!
We're so close to getting these all online today! Act now to support increased network robustness with global distribution. Please send 3000 nxt to 11243542237777034551 to sponsor a node until the end of March. Vanity nodes are available for 4500 nxt with your own hallmark and name.
Thank you to everyone working so hard to help NXT be a success.

Hi, can somebody please point me to the right direction? I can see a lot of features but I can't find any paper explaining how and when these will be implemented. In particular:
- Decentralized Marketplace / Auction - Decentralized Mixing Service - Decentralized DNS / Alias System (Starting at block 22000) - Voting
Thanks

You have all been extremely patient and generous with those of us (newbies) trying to learn about Nxt and cryptos in general, so please be patient with another newbie question below. And I will add that the quality and volume of communication on this site is extraordinarily good. Doing development in the open like this is like inviting people into the kitchen of your restaurant. Average customers may not want to see that kitchen, but legitimate investors absolutely must see the good, the bad, and the ugly of the whole operation. This forum captures the historical development of problems encountered and solved, and will be strong testament to the resilience of this project and the people involved.
Here's the question: What is your best guess about the specific sources of the DDOS attacks? Organizing them takes time, resources, and cooperation, so how is such an attack justified by those making the effort? What is the ultimate gain for them? (Sorry if this question has already been answered. I read the posts here as much as I can, but haven't hit all 480+ pages.)

Although RAM is cheap and getting cheaper, some leaking is going on for sure it's not a problem for home users who just launch, make some payments and close, but for public nodes it is an issue.

Although RAM is cheap and getting cheaper, some leaking is going on for sure That would be no solution. It needs to be smooth as butter and light as i-cant-believe-its-not-butter!

The DEATH of NXT Yeah I don't know if anyone knows exactly where it's coming from but the concept of nxt and all the features certainly threaten the status quo (BTC/LTC) etc. I wouldn't be surprised at all if its coming from elsewhere in the crypto community.
