I open http://holms.cloudapp.net:6874/ and input my passphrase. I got an account.
And then I use https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.msg5054385#msg5054385  ClieNXT client.
I click UNLOCK and input the same passphrase as I did before.
I got another account! It's different from the previous one .  And I can send textnxt from the previous one to ClieNXT.

Where did I wrong thing ?

 Huh Huh

I use one passphrase to open an account :9569813167457446383
Then I open ClieNXT with the same passphrase, but get another account: 17305448910002659897.
I send 100k from 9569813167457446383 to 17305448910002659897. And ClienNXT shows I receive 100k under the account 17305448910002659897.

5mins later, the account on ClieNXT changed to 9569813167457446383 automatically. And I lost the account 17305448910002659897...
It's a magic.

Maybe you are using chinese characters for passphrase which is probably not compatible with the client. Just a guess.

Just abc and %^&*(,   not chinese characters.
With the same passphrase,  I got the same account 9569813167457446383 as on the web client, but with a time lag 5-10min.

I believe we have seen this before.
Did you copy/paste from a notepad?

Sometimes notepad adds line break characters into a passphrase under certain circumstances.

A month ago someone lost access to his account due to this, but when he found out managed to figure out where the breaks were. It's somewhere WAY back in the thread.

You are right.   Notepad adds line break. Adding the line break in my passphrase, I got another account!
Now I have both acc.

nxt currently works as for small accounts have the same options as large accounts in forging the only solution is to join in a pool.

this will cause in the future centralization of the nodes and therefore a more vulnerable network.

if you decide to join a pool the solution is;

a) funds must stay in the Bob account
b ) forging power should remain in the node where stay Bob acount.

Instead the commission of forging if Bob acount forge should go to the "transparent" pool and the pool manager split the commission forging proportion to the amount of funds from the accounts that were at that time in the pool .

I do not know if this is technically very difficult to implement but it is clear that if not resolved this little by little will create pools and concentrating on a few network nodes and so understand a network more vulnerable to attack .

I think the pool is very good solution for the small investor gives "equity to the system not equality " but forging power of Bob acount should remain in the node where this account with funds for the sake of the security of the network.

Am I wrong in my thoughts?

Bitvoin has the same problem. A few pools will remain, where all the little fuckers, like me with my erupters, join in.

If we are able to work out how to do atomic cross-chain transactions *within* the Nxt platform then that would be a "game changer" ..
- one link re cross-chain transactions:
Quote
The protocol allows cross-coin p2p trading without a central point. It seems to me that it is the “holly grail” of alternate crypto coins, because it gives them an advantage Bitcoin didn’t have at that time.  And this is an idea that can change the cryptocoin ecosystem for good, where all coins trade against each other.

UPDATE: ClieNXT GUI

version 0.0.5 [code name] AE testnet

* this version solely works with testnet server http://holms.cloudapp.net:6874/
* Asset Exchange window has major features

------
Download
------
https://bitbucket.org/fmiboy/clienxt/downloads/clienxt_005.zip

------
Usage
------

* Windows users unzip the archive and run Clienxt.jar file
* Linux users unzip the archive and run in terminal ./clienxt.run &
* Mac users unzip the archive and run in terminal ./clienxt.run & (not tested, working on creating *.app file or *.pkg installer)

* Languages English, Russian only Asset Exchange window translations are missing.

NB: don't use your own accounts on "testnet"

click Unlock button to open new or existing accounts on "testnet" (unlock and watch if you have more accounts)
go to Asset Exchange window and start Tra

Please report bugs or feature request here: https://bitbucket.org/fmiboy/clienxt/issues?status=new&status=open
Once client is tested, we can use it tomorrow without an issue!
Translators are very much welcome! The more languages we have the more people test Asset Exchange tomorrow.

Translators can find word list in Bundle.Properties (everything right side of "=" needs translation) here: https://bitbucket.org/fmiboy/clienxt/src/0a35a05b7786b2c3cf1e69ca16c0bbd48d8f953c/src/clienxt/Bundle.properties?at=master

If you like my work, donate nxt 13792774143018875909 and thank you very much for all supports.

Cannot set the amount of fees. If I sent 10.000 NXTs I would rather give more fees.

Guys, I was out... now working on bugs...

Fee is 1000 which is default fee 1+999 that can be set from preferences. So if you want to pay more fees increase default fee higher than 1 Smiley

Also there is a lag on testnet i have noticed before, transactions get confirmation rather slow. "Not enough funds" or other messages possibly from that lag, give it some time.

Also client access server and internet connection matters that's the reason progress bar was added to show task percentage.

Please keep reporting if you get bugs in above link.
Thanks!

Thanks to gmoneycoin for donation!

A few details how Asset Exchange works.

All orders must be backed by NXT or Asset qty which r deduced from the account balance during order placement.

Each new order triggers order matching engine which adjusts orders and balances. A real trade happens during this event and doesn't create "sending" transactions.

Orders with the same price r matched according to their sequence position. The position is determined by the block an order confirmed in. If two orders appear in the same block then position is determined by a transaction id (sorted in ascending order counting ids as signed 64-bit numbers).

That's just what i tried to address with my posting earlier today. Please have a look at the corresponding wiki page.
I am no dev but i would love to hear a comment on that idea. CfB?
