Agreed, zavtra!
Anyone else having difficulty in getting a good connection and good mining results with either coin-base.org, or SBC Cryptocult?
I'm suddenly getting tons of "Found block for pool 0!" with no--or few--"Accepted" or simply a loss of connection.

1. It's red 2. It's an S 3. It has "horns"
To me personally its not problem at all but the USA is a very christian nation. Maybe the average christian would never associate these things, and China I'm sure could care less.

I also sort of like design 1, it has a nice clean feel to it. When it's shrunk down it won't be confusing about what the "S" is.
edit: after looking at both again, the horns aren't that intrusive. Calling them "horns" and associating it with anything other than little spikes on a font is ridiculous. Look at any Serif font, you get the same sort of thing. This is just tasteful styling.

Anyone who holds or is thinking of buying SBC will care what the "religious wackos" think if/when SBC starts getting dumped becuase of poor choice of logo. Horns is definitely not a good idea; people might associate it with devil, and the "S" with Satan, and red with the devil. This will deter 2 kinds of people from SBC: 1. Christian / religious types. 2. Non- religous types, don't give a damn about the horns per se, but even they might be worried that the horns will scare off the religious types and therefore limit the appeal of the coin.
The only person around here nutty enough to make that association would be Luke Jr. Hi Hazard, Not sure where you are from, but I think anyone from a western country (such as USA.... maybe not Chinese) would instantly make an association with the devil/Satn from a red S with horns. If you're not sure, go ask 10 people from the USA if they have ever seen any image of a red devil with horns. I think the possible negatives of the horns outweigh any possible benefits. The logo won't by itself make SBC a success but it could by itself prevent or limit SBC's success. Why risk possibly alienating potential buyers for very little in return (an arguably better looking design)? Old Logo: New Logo: Having the two side by side it looks like the new logo is a lot more professionally done

There's also a third option I think it looks a little bland. Both are still an improvement over the original though.

Yes, but having both potential new logos side by side: Both look professional. I'll be honest though, I also liked the way the old logo touched in the middle. Maybe we should somehow incorporate that as well? Broken up, the 'S' just looks like 2 sideways 'U's.

Let me know what you think Trying to settle on a new logo before tomorrow. Some big things are about to happen. Yes, I like it as well actually, due to staying faithful to the original as well. I still personally would stay away from the spikes although I'd say my opinion is considered moot at this point. Could you drop a hint as to what some of these big things are?

Sorry, the "horns" or spikes distract from the "S" logo. It doesn't look like an "S," it looks like two sideways U-Turn signs or something.
I believe artos' original logo is better than the two new ones. Why not just polish it up and use it?

Glad that there is such interest over what the logo should be. As we begin to ramp up marketing efforts, it would be better to change the logo sooner rather than later. While I do have a soft spot for the old logo, it is lacking in many ways.
What about a logo that is identical in structure and proportions to the original, but styled in the way of the new one?

I think that will be fine. The shading of the new logo looks very good to have.

Why is the S split into 2 U's anyway? Does it signify anything?
Look at the colors. The top portion is a C, and the entire thing is an S. Hence, StableCoin.

As someone above mentioned I believe it is more solid feeling and a little less cutesy. Also, even if you think it is only an extremely small percentage of people who might view the "horns" as evil, why alienate anyone? Keep the target audience as large as possible. Personally I like it much better without the "horns" and do not think they add anything but could detract. My $0.02 worth.
