GRA getting some press!  Very nice!   Grin

…and 10mil GRA buy wall at 10 s.  Someone wants lots of cheap GRA!
Don't let him get away that cheap!

That seems expensive, as there are endless quantities of it and it's completely useless.

Yawn.

FUD.

In lighter news; I got my first PoS today. Ok, it was 2.8 grain, but still. My reward for sitting pretty.  Wink

well as you can see i am getting the gray question marks all the time. i have almost 250k in this wallet.
earlier today i checked the wallet and under stake: it said about 2000 grain.
now it is at 0.

do the PoS coins move from stake to confirmed?

i didnt know the exact number of confirmed coins so im not sure if they moved to confirmed or not

hope that makes some sense Smiley

I'm not entirely sure how stake works, but maybe they're like rejected blocks? Someone else "mined" them first? Someone with a higher stake of coins? I've only had 4 transactions today for PoS, but they're all confirmed and I have 1.7 mill grain.

In order to prepare for payment of already mined blocks I made a summary of all addresses that received coinbase outputs for PoW mined blocks since block 100000.

ATM the list has ~317 PoW blocks and all payouts goes to these addresses:
Code:

9EAV4SyrdKQrs6Gg5s6RHTQW9urmQ3uNcL seems to be a pool address; unknown

9StWjUHMHt3FfQXMKxtcDNRr3h26cKQKtQ http://gra.livechains.net/

So, if anyone knows that some of the addresses above are also pool addresses then please ask the pool ops to get in touch.

The stake amount is amount of coins that recently participated in PoS block creation and is being 'relaxing'. The original input for the PoS block coinstake transaction plus the block reward is divided into two outputs that sent back to the same address. At the same time these coins are marked as 'stake' and as 'immatured'. After 50 blocks they are returned to the 'normal' state

The question marks on the screenshot a few posts above is the orphaned blocks.

isnt that strange that i am recieving so many orphaned PoS blocks?
its my understanding that orphans are blocks someone else has already solved before you.

is the power of your PoS minting determined by number of coins in the wallet or age of the coins?

i mean i am getting nothing but orphans now, and a few posts up someone with 1.7 mil in the wallet is only getting 4 PoS blocks a day, while i am getting them like every 5 minutes

Actually, that's the first 4 PoS blocks I've had since leaving my wallet continuously open. It's been 3 days since I deposited the 1.5 mill grain I bought in my wallet. Before that I had 200k from mining, but I hadn't been leaving my wallet open, as I was pool mining.

To clear up some misunderstanding:

Quote
You've posted a list of addresses that payouts are going to, but there was no mine one in this list.Actually I am mining on the forkpool. Thanks in advance.

The addresses listed in my post are addresses to which the block reward has been sent. If the address belongs to the pool then it is the responsibility of the pool operator to distribute the top payments among the miners according to their effort. So, no top payments will be sent to the actual miner's address by the grain dev team. Instead, the forkpool operator will credit that address accordingly using the grains he receive from grain dev team.

Edit:

By the way. The both pool ops had been PM'ed yesterday but did not respond yet.

Could we get an updated list of pools in the OP?

The only known are the two already listed. The one address I suspect belongs to pool due to the activity with the coins after they are mined. But this is my assumption and nothing more. The altminers used to run the pool for gra, but now its domain name http://grain.altminers.com/ is not resolved.

EDIT: Guys, let's respect one's private messages and not post them in the main thread.

The news about the pool operators not responding to devs are not that good actually. Yet I think they're holding their hands on faces and thinking how to implement PROPORTIONAL payments to all contributors. I am not a tech pro, so I don;t know if it is easy or difficult.

Well, back to mining grain, and out of no where suddenly I have a stake of 709.116429  grain. Which is awesome.

Will I now start mining the stake? How does it work? I'm getting small mined transactions in my wallet, but I don't understand what that large stake is. Will it eventually transfer into my main balance?
