...and it's rising Bye bye to those who missed this last train There's still time to hop on this train if people buy in now. The train is leaving midday today - there's still a chance to get on this one. I say 150 satoshies by Christmas. I'd say by New Years is more likely than by Christmas. It takes time for people to buy after media attention. Usually 5 days to a week later you see the results of exposure. Yeah, I guess you may be right that it will take a few more days than that. Most people are too focused on other things right now to buy cryptocurrencies.

Scrypt Pools had many problems and many coins were lost due to multiple payout problems. I was in over my head the moment the pool went past 500 mh/s. I did my best to keep it running but I failed. I'm embarassed and truly sorry. I will find a way to get enough doges to process the rest of the payouts and reinstate my credibility.

Glad I decided to hold my doge.
I almost dumped them when people were getting all depressed.
Doge is nothing without it's hype.
Now that people are getting hype doge is worth keeping.
Doge to the moon!
I almost did the same thing when I bought 1mil at 75 satoshi and it dropped to 40+ satoshi lol

I know everyone goes on about 'pump and dump' but how does it actually work? I get that its to do with artificially inflating the price to enable a sell at a bigger level - but how does this get controlled? Can anyone explain the buy and sell pattern that goes on between what i assume is a group of people rather than an individual? And how do they decide when enough is enough heh?

Ther's normaly a couple of ppl organise a pump and bring in loads of other guys to help out They normaly say about 1 min before the start which coin most of the times its a scam the coin has been prepumped by the organisers then the guys pump and the organisers pull out with 100%+ profit if you lucky you can also pull out b4 the rest dump and make some profit http://coinmarketcap.com/ +44

Are there moderators on this forum? Would be nice to delete all the pool spams and keep this thread on track, which is to talk about dogecoins.
They should create a thread for the pools.

I feel like this random rise is just what the community needed to keep it's spirits up.
It will be a while still until miners have no effect on the value of doge.
But at least this shows us some signs of life from the community.
A DOGE lands on the moon in 2014. Believe.

Usually the people doing the "pump and dumps" are making huge walls and making people think the price will inflate a lot, then they convince people in chat that they will bring the price up by x% and then maybe when they get halfway the people are all hyped up and hoping that the coin will go to "the moon" now while the person pumping slowly sells(dumps) and when everyone realizes that there are no more buy walls supporting and the price is starting to go down slowly, everyone else starts dumping and the price goes to the floor leaving some people with a bag of coins that are now worth less than they did before the pump
