So I have the new wallet, it is synced and still on 20289 block with 172 diff. No new blocks coming. Need nodes?

I got the new wallet and it's on block 20296 and i didn't change the nodes or anything. |

Sorry for Noobish question what does it mean that CATcoin is being forked? No diff is 16, do you think it will get back to 1XX?
Because the coin has changed specifications, the blockchain of the coin has been split in two; we're now on one of the new forked paths. When a coin is changed, but people are still mining the old coin, it causes the block chain to split. The other fork with the old specs will die because it won't have enough hashpower to mine the blocks. |

We don't want coinwarz to update yet do we? as then there will be a flood of people again, also on coinium it still says 1881 blocks to dif change? so did you just change the DIF or the number of blocks until the update

I've sent coinwarz an email about the fork. Really disappointed they didn't know about it. That would have really caused the hashrate to go up. Oh well. At least it gives us time to mine before the profiteers jump in.  |

Well yes and no. Coinwarz and the like caused the difficulty to rocket up to begin with, but because of the long time between difficulty, it stopped being profitable. Now that the difficulty changes are more regular, we WANT IT on coinwarz because it's going to be profitable again and consistently from now on. |
