We don't want coinwarz to update yet do we? as then there will be a flood of people again, also on coinium it still says 1881 blocks to dif change? so did you just change the DIF or the number of blocks until the update
Well yes and no. Coinwarz and the like caused the difficulty to rocket up to begin with, but because of the long time between difficulty, it stopped being profitable. Now that the difficulty changes are more regular, we WANT IT on coinwarz because it's going to be profitable again and consistently from now on.
Not that much if price doesn't go up.
With diff 16 it's currently the most profitable coin. In 1 hour or so difficulty will jump to at least 30, accounting the fact that many guys are still on the old chain. At 30 it's gonna be the most profitable on coinwars, but not so sure on coinchoose. Once everyone see this, hashrate will double at the very least, or even go up to 1GH/s, and make the difficulty go to 100+.
But with this difficulty, catcoin will be hardly more profitable than litecoin again.
So either catcoin will be treated as any other coins, and hashrate will constantly change a lot based on the difficulty retarget, and stay at current prices, or the community work pay off and price goes up, bringing even more hashrate, and find a balance at mush higher price (happened for DOGE).
