If I want to send XCP from my blockchain.info PoB account to my real BTC address, do I need to download the private key from blockchain.info and run counterpartyd? Is there any other way?
no other way until web-wallet launch as soon as these web wallets are done (both for xcp and mastercoin), i want to go and start setting up satoshis square events for large cities who wants to help me? i can cover europe, need people world wide, and da moon of course no pay for this, this is to teach people how to do p2p commerce so they can teach others. no one? sad... skyping while doing europe square so the rest of the map can see how it goes There are regular Satoshi Squares in Los Angeles. Lots of Mastercoiners in LA already, so I could step up for this if there's not someone more eager. LA is a bit far out for me, and i don't fly unless i am speaking at a conference. but as a btc foundation member i will be in amsterdam, so perhaps i will try to set up one there

Is sweeping supposed to work already?
Yes, it should, but please try sweeping from an address with a small (i.e. dust) balance first. Or, wait for a few successful user reports (we have one person trying it out now) I did try it with an address holding 100 XCP. It didn´t work. Nothing is happening, actually, if I click in "sweep". Is it my browser? (chrome) edit_: the same with IE edit_2: congratulations, the client looks great. Hopefully the sweeping will work, too. I just tried a sweep with Chrome and it worked. Try going to https://counterwallet.co/src and doing a sweep from that (this is simply the same counterwallet site, but does not use the minified .js and .css resources), and posting your results in https://forums.counterparty.co/index.php?topic=188 (a screenshot and any error text from the javascript console is most helpful) Not working for me. I click the button, but absolutely nothing happens. Di I need to have funds on the account I am sweeping FROM?

Check my video tutorial, but you have to have ~0.0005 (for each sweepable asset (non-bitcoin)) that you are sweeping, and make sure that you've selected the asset(s) that you are sweeping from the private key...

It was a user error as the key, I copied from blockchain was not in bitcoin-qt format. Very nice and informative video, thank you very much!

hi,I know I missed something here. I was told the asset issue fee has declined to 0.5xcp, which is good news , but for thoes who issued assets at 5xcp fee before , is that any compensation for this?? will return back xcp ?or something else? it is not fair for thoes issued early. isn't that?

Again, congrats. on today's big move towards adaption. I believe that we need to pickup marketing after a period of debugging.
In order to pickup marketing and in order for all of us to "spread the word", and attract XCP investment as well as CP platform usage I believe that we need to have the best clarity, on details beyond the obvious value that a decentralized platform provides.
-----------------------------------------
Thus, Back to "business model"questions:
I read the LTB coin plan with great interest and I can indeed see a great potential in what they are trying to do there.
I will use this as an example to ask several questions to our devs, Matt or any other visionaries here that would like to answer:
Since LTB coin (and any other such future asset) will be built off the CP platform and is an asset:
1) there will be 510M coins and promotions etc etc. how many actual assets will be issued that will require 0.5xcps? (one time and done? every promotion?)
2) I can see that the LTB vision, as well as the B TangibleAssets vision, as well as all other assets in the future, can create great value to their shareholders. However,
a) what drives XCP's value in real economic terms? what drives CP's value? b) can we actually have LTB's with a market cap of say 50M and CP with 10M? I believe that it is possible. so how will we generate value to our XCPs when we dont have shares in CP (XCPs ARE our shares).
3) Will all transaction fees incurred from various activities around CP actually go to BTC miners? or are there DEX fees that will stay within the CP eco-system (hence realizing that it is a vertical system within the BTC ecosystem as we tried to display to the BTC devs)
Thanks for thoughtful orderly answers.

To persuade people to burn more than 2000 BTC is not easy. That's the first thing to overcome for someone who want to clone counterparty. Then as decelopers don't have extra benefits than other early adopters, there's less incentives in cloning.

Then as decelopers don't have extra benefits than other early adopters, there's less incentives in cloning. But you don;t need to burn 2000 BTC if you were to clone it, theoretically, you only need to burn a few, as its divisible, also you could just lower it so that 1 bitcoin = 3000 Clone, lots of ways around it i can;t really comprehend that as an obstacle, I don;t mean clone the amount burned i mean clone the source code, change it into their own name, burn their own bitcoin, have their own cloned version, jst like all the clones to sha256, scrypt etc
