One question for the community. Would you rather have the coin stand as is ascending reawrd to 160k/block and then descend to block 310k- reward 1000/block, or would you rather see the rewards ascend to block 160k, and at block 161k the reward drops to 1000/block? As it stands I think we'll mint 30billion in the 1st year and I was thinking that's kind of a lot, and I'd rather not  get compaired to dogecoin or infinitcoin just because we've minted 30% of the money supply in the 1st year.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

All this parameters.It's hard to tell what would be best. Especially because we can't see in future.
If we get to 1000 coins per block with low price or low addoption, coin - network will die.
It will be cpu coin at 1000coins/block.
I think point was, that to160000 GPU mining; from 160000 to 1000 CPU mining; and than just maintaining the integrity of the network. If network is dieing at that point, maybe POS can save it?
Also at that point, big holders should invest heavily in services.

I personally am looking for a perfect coin. IMO crypto coins will have difficult times, so just the strongest will survive.

Would like to buy 100M coins for 10LTC   Grin  or best offer  Undecided

I saw the N-factor has changed again, allthough I haven't mined it for a few days now. Only 860 kh/s left with my HD7950.

It used to be about 5 mh/s in the early fase of this lovely coin.

{Curently quite inactive as I'm really busy in my private life. I will get back soon!}

it's the same for everyone tho, so it doesn't really matter Tongue

There was something wrote about some china IPS blocks 4444,44444 port connetions.
So port 4444,44444 nodes you may cant use.
With first update I recommend dev may change port, so more secured/monitored clients can join in too.
Are you all in China?

It is not helpfull, as I wrote before, we tried all kind of ports:

addnode=84.251.34.142:3232
addnode=145.220.255.56:35937
addnode=24.155.217.218:62494
addnode=183.171.178.11:10278

Almost all clients use 4444 port and if your IPS for some reason block that, it may fixed when new client are launched, but I made one test if you like to try.
https://mega.co.nz/#!qRol1TYb!J16aO64JD4q9uw7vGRdrVUz0TbAFkOPDF-WbX55cFEU

There you can find version where port is changed to 3232
But this not change other clients nodes on irc network ofcourse.

This is not official version. Only change for original source is the port address.
Just for curious test. (Windows version)
(For me it's working. I have this in 3 win7 computer)

I downoaded this archive and run in virtual box with XP (many altcoin clients work on this virutal machine)

The behaviour of this client is the same:
1. Imideatly after start of the microCoin.exe I have 1 active connection
2. About 2 minutes nothing changes (sync don't start)
3. I lost connection at all

Here is my debug.log:
http://pastebin.com/RdyRBwDL

My microcoin.conf
Code:
rpcport=3232
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=*
server=1
listen=1
addnode=84.251.34.142:3232
addnode=145.220.255.56:35937
addnode=24.155.217.218:62494
addnode=183.171.178.11:10278

I coninue to investigate the trouble with connection.
Now I have stable 1 active connection and blockchain is syncronized!
I use your "Specailly compiled" version with no config file (there is no config file at all).
So I dont know what exactly did you change, but It give me one working connection (I suspect it is your node with the same compiled version).

I think you are connected main node which is written in code:
addnode=84.251.34.142:3232

You can put another 47/7 node if you like
addnode=84.251.34.142:2232

Good to hear you have connection.
When we all start to use new wallet (I believe port will be changed in it) then you will get more connections.
Any way I will keep my clients with this new port too.

Oh, just forgot to mention a problem, that when coin becomes CPU (people say after N=12), coin become a target of botnets and their dumps.

At current price I'm mining about 2 LTC/day with 4 gpu's its profitable to mine so I don't see the network dieing
No problem now. But if 1000 coins/block with same hashrate and price? If hashrate is still so low as now, price should rise for 60x. But then you get more miners and you mine even less...

Usualy problem is with config file! Don't use it if you don't need it!
I usualy don't solo mine, and that's why I usualy don't make config file and wallets still work.

Try without config file. If no connection, go to help-debug-console and type: addnode 84.251.34.142 add
You also don't need to specify port.
This allways works for me.

Oh, and minersbest not working now.

Dev: I think you should remove crycurex as an exchange on your OP for now, it seems a lot of ppl are having major problems with tht exchange like deleted accounts, and balances not showing up, most importantly he has no ssl security so that exchange is going to be hacked. Just a warning to future microcoiners.

Pools should limit the number of worker connections one account can have. And not allow two accounts to auto payout to the same address. But guess they won't.

I'm not part of the dev team but I just wanted to see ppl's opinions. I just think this coin is superior to doge and infinit and I don't want critics to unfairly compare us with those rubishcoins because we minted 30% in the first year. I want this to be the peercoin of Scrypt which took about a year to hit $7 the, difference is that they have only minted 21M compared to our 30B 1st year.

I think if some one hit the market after one year, there is no matter is that coin made in one year or three.
Only matter is how fair was mining, i mean is there some backholders holding free coins? And we all know there is no any insta or premined µ coin.
Most important is coins are spread fair for all who ever want to hold it.
If some one dont mine or buy it now, when it's cheap... well, then they can buy it higer Smiley
edit: And I believe most of coins are change owner many times after on year.

2 halibit What polognese market?  UPD lol just nevermind, you talked about poloniex.com ))

About Crycurex, used it 10 times, deals for 2 BTC total, 3 withdraws, all fast and smooth. I think its black PR against its owner.

Chatted after that with pool owner, helpful and friendly man. I wish him luck.
