I'm sorry buddy but to answer your question (again) we are reaching out, we are promo'ing and we are constantly reaching new merchants (we are with CoinPayments and are now accepted by 30 merchants/charities). We are not waiting, and if you have any more interesting promotional ideas that don't include having guys set up outside the NYSE promoting and educating NobleCoin (alongside a few others) and an even more 'secretive' plan coming involving miknutty that we are working/waiting on until it is ready to be announced.

The NYSE details should be coming within 24 hours.

We don't like announcing until we have delivered. Look around you, you have coins announcing Fiat>Coin exchanges (then retracting them), coins announcing they will be used primarily to buy drugs (a stupid announcement to publicly make and also an ASSUMPTION), coins announcing they will protect you from the government and enable illegal activity (I can definitely personally see the value there in terms of anonymity and not liking the current system of control, but good luck with that), coins announcing they are backed by major banks and anonymous multi-million dollar companies. Where is the proof? Where is the deliverance? This market is based on BS announcements by anonymous players pulling at your heart strings, and I'll be damned if we announce something we haven't proven we can provide.

You point out Flappy as an alternative to our problem of PoW reward system, yet they have 100 billion (?) coins planned with a reward in the 100s of thousands? It is easy to criticise a coin when it is at a low and I understand that, but your alternatives seem to be looked at with rose-tinted glasses.

If we need promotion, help promote us.

edit: To date we have delivered a network 30 merchants/charities, a successful (minus the reversal we are fixing, do your homework on the other coins) Water Project with 11k twitter followers that is recognized and respected internationally, a marketplace allowing you to buy ANYTHING from Amazon internationally @ 10% below RRP, with more incoming. If you feel this is not the right coin for you, we are not meeting expectations and the grass is greener elsewhere, I truly am sorry to see you go and that you view this coin as a bad investment, but I wish you the best of luck in your investments or day-trading elsewhere (whatever your cup of tea may be).

We don't control the market. We don't control what whales and miners do. We don't control the value. All we can do is continue to be here every day, working hard and delivering on what we say we will deliver.

Well said Dev, also can you post the code for your current sig?

This is great coin with great future and I'll always support it, mine it and buy some more (whenever I can).

Sorry I've done a number of edits to the response.

It seems BTCT got sick of all the flashy colours detracting from their ads and have simplified the signatures. To be honest I prefer it Tongue Here is mine:

Ok guys,

I've set up a new wallet for the community donation fund and have transferred the first 10,000 Noble to it.

If you want to chip in you can send Noble to the following address: 9pyBnH8HvxxFRJkkXjvYEKdnw37qhodgdE

The plan: (short version, non final, subject to changes based on community input, will be updated later with more details)

Goal: Increase community participation by providing an incentive to spend time promoting Noble.
Means: Raised community funds.
Competition: We will hold a contest for creating the best meme, slogan or other means for promoting Noble.

Details: Everybody can make any type of submission. Depending on the amount of submissions, subcategories can be created. A Jury of the community members will make a top 10 of all submissions. The top 10 will be hosted in a poll to decide on final ranking.

Prizes: Amounts will depend on Noble raised. Additional Noble can be given to all members who make a decent submission and those who help spread the material over the internet.

Please make suggestions if you disagree or miss something!

I will start building the contest thread in a minute. I will pledge about 300-400k noble as rewards there (1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes), with additional (smaller) bounties for all serious entries and social media hyping.

I would like to reserve around 500k for this first contest, to see how the community responds to it. The rest will be reserved for further/future contests or other community ideas!

I'll mention all contributors at the bottom of the contest, without the amount donated.

If you disagree with any of the above, please let me know Smiley

The contest is live guys, please submit your entries! Once the entries start the ball should get rolling! Smiley

Also, even though the contest has started, you can still make contributions, no matter how small! Even 100 Noble is appreciated.

Rofo, could you make a twitter, facebook and reddit announcement for the contest? Thanks!

I'm really interested in the updates Rofo. NYSE promo sounds great and the high number of people that should come to the market in March may be just the boost we need!

In all honousty, that marketplace signature was a little over the top. A full black background with flashy letters. o.O
