My R9 290 wont even work on 12000+ TC, is it maybe because its in a X1 slot instead of X16? im using a X1 to X16 extender

No, the extender is not the reason. I am mining with the modified cgminer on Windows Vista with two 280x, one of which uses a 1x to 16x PCI-E adapter.

Many thanks to Aleks for releasing the CPU-enabled CGminer. Can we get that for Linux as well?
I'm finding the odd block with the windows version. I compiled for linux, but have seen only rejected blocks so far, perhaps I did something wrong. Can someone else compile and post a linux binary? The same. Getting only rejected blocks under Ubuntu 12.04 Linux x64 binary: http://www.sendspace.com/file/yc8eysThanks, but it didn't help Probably something wrong with my version of kernel itself. Got it from the link on a first page, strange. Using 7870, and as it based on the same GNC architecture as 7950/70 and R9 xxx the same OpenCL kernel should work for it as well.

(thats OK, otherwise you overwrite your installed scrypt cgminer) If yes, please start cgminer from the source dir with ./cgminer! ./ is really important to start the one from the source dir, not the installed one. I have done this mistake too during my very firsts tests

And I don't have installed version, so it's impossible to strart it without ./ Will try on another system later on. And will re-check everything once again.

sorry, i do not really understand what you mean with "replaced inside the cgminer". Have you downloaded the GPU cgminer from page 1 and compiled this? Or do you use the sources from original cgminer and only replaced the scrpt130511.cl? (this is not enough, ocl.c and scrypt.c are changed too)

And the hashrate is close to 50% of original scrypt, so it should be proper setup. If no one seen it before, probably it something wrong with my system. Will dig more around today...

What version of stratum-mining do we need for the pool? I can get a reliable pool up but need the correct stratum version .

So if N factor reaches from 24 to 25, there'll be no rig which can mine this coin anymore, and the block chain will HALT.
In the year 2694? I think CPUs and even GPUs might have advanced a bit by then... And in 2694 this coin will obviously still exist and people will still use it! Edit: By the way, anyone working on cudaminer? I would love to mine faster that 2.7k on my CPU

You probably need to reduce your thread concurrency.

The issue with the pool is people using an unmodified CGMiner and connecting to stratum. All the rejected shares mess with stratum.

Prices on 0daycoins are getting awful low.. This needs to hit a second exchange (coinedup maybe?) or this will set the standard for the value of this coin at a very low value..
