The best time is simply when you have made profit from your investment. For instance, if you bought from ico or you actually bought from exchange and price has increased, you can sell if you want. Sometimes too, price can drop. In this business, delay is dangerous  

Correct,  the best time is when you already earn from your investment.  It will be much better if you will earn atleast 50-100% or even more. But for every investment it is important to be more watchful and be careful for every decision.

The best time to sell your altcoins is to to set a profit target within a particular period. When the target is reach, you sell. It it don't you ,sell too. If you can do such for five to ten trades and you win 6 out of ten, you can make profit . In other words you trade to sell. There is no best time to sell altcoins. But I think there is a best price to sell altcoins. When the price is satisfactory, you sell it. I always set a price for myself and when that particular coin reach that targeted price, I sell it if I need to. Most times prices are good at the end of the year.

A good research can give you the answers for your question. I would rather tend to hold the coins depending on the profit rate untill the coins reaches my expected price. Also i would set a stop-loss to avoid major loss. And as the coin gets higher and higher price, i would keep holding some along with selling some.

If we agree that we only participate in good ICOs, then it makes no sense to sell immediately as soon as you can make a profit. It is better to wait for x2 from the price of ISO and sell half of the tokens. Still a lot depends on the market of course. If everything falls, it is difficult to profit even from a good project.

I believe that this time you should sell altcoin immediately, the market is showing very bad signals for altcoin, you can see that after several days of continuous increase, at present the price of altcoin is down very and there are no signs of stopping.

So in order to preserve your capital, you should leave the bitcoin to preserve capital and profit.

The time of selling matters the most for us traders because it is where we could have losses of gain. As for me, the best time to sell is when everything in the market is stable. When the bull market starts, it is where we could sell with good profits in return so better wait for it.
