if the coin is forked price will go up and people will dump, especially the frustrated ones with no patience. unless you use this as an opportunity to market the coin, get more miners and more investors, forking it will have a negative effect. on the other hand it could be extremely effective but thats only if you get the word out to everyone not only the people already interested in the coin
This is pretty much how it's been with every coin that has had a forced fork. I explained it many pages back with examples of coins that it happened to. The only people a hard fork benefit are those that have stockpiled coins cheap going into the fork. Also, block halving has proven it does NOTHING to a coin's value. Look at the hype that went toward Dogecoin's block halving - look at it's exchange rate immediately BEFORE the halving and immediately AFTER if you want a popular and current example. But was there no good fork at Kitteh? Was that not the reason why it jump from 1 to 120 (highest point) now only trading at 30, but still, they were worth only 1.

Why are the projects not finished as promised? Why is it so hard to raise funds to " bribe" Cryptsy?
Why? Easy, because we wanted everyone to sell their KDC's cheap and wanted ppl to lose hope of higher prices. So we get even more loaded when KDC hits an dollar. For real: because many other things happend in between, go read the last 250 pages

I have been watching MINT for a while and yesterday it exploded all because of the increase that is seen on coinmarketcap.
I was thinking if someone would be interested in a little pump to attract miners? looking at the sellorders it doesnt take that much to buy it up. Anyone interested in this? On KDC ofc.
... Wanna hold my coins during it? ... Retard Oh, no I didn't mean that you would dump... I meant that I said we should pump it 1 week ago... when it was at 5k sat. Pump to 10k sat, then it would get stable at 7.5k sat and be #1 at coinwarz and coinmarketcap... haha You can pump it to 8k sat at coinedup now for around 2 BTC Maybe we should wait for tomorrows announcement? Idd, als the possible new marketing manager, i'd suggest to concentrate it all at once: - Launch website - Implementation of the fork - A KDC pump to 10k - Marketing like : * twitter give-away * faucet full and running again (i can sent a few 100's towards the faucet). Lets lower payout to lets say 0.1 coin so lots of people can profit. * Official launch of gamestorewebsite (with available stock) * Newsletter signup for a free KDC coin (so we can contact all KDC lovers at once) * Klondike news overload on Twitter (retweet this and receive a KDC). I think giving away KDC's will attrackt lots of new potential investors and we are likely to get momentum then. >> Be sure to follow me on twitter for the latest updates. Also about other coins (but mainly KDC): www.twitter.com/minecrypto << I agree 100% this is what should be done, hopefully the fork comes this weekend.. doing a mega block sounds good too but marketing it would be a better idea to do first, how else would ppl know about the coin if we don't market it. so that should be first, I trust mystic.. he has been on KDC for a while.. hopefully the community can get the coin moving forwards. im still holding all my coins.

Have put 100 KDC in the faucet. Since it only gives like 0.1 kdc, this is for new ppl. If you have a large stack (+10k), consider donation some too (instead of pulling it empy ) The website is http://faucet.klondikecoin.com/ and faucet wallet is L9YaWhnkUBMRAHpzutzozvVJFpF292YtuE

Is there still a plan for a KDC Poker tournament? Of course DEV has been extermly busy but think of all the money that dev can earn with this. For example a Poker tournament: 90% of the placed KDC will be payout to the winners and 10% is for the site owner. People will really love this... as small hashrate people want to earn some more money, some students or so, so not a lot of money to buy KDC, also not a lot of hash, but good in Poker... those people will play it, then older people that never play poker will join too as they don't care to lose 50 KDC coins or so... and with this Poker tournament, with the right marketing we can create a little hype

Pull the right strings like you did with getting in the pools at the start! About twitter > im against those "social networks". Don't have a "personal" twitter, but it turns out, to use it business wise, it can really help spread the word and work to my advantage. I'll start a KDC giveaway on that account within a couple of days. Make sure you follow me and RT my tweets. twitter.com/minecrypto. I seem to be correct on a lot of coins / trades. Also a good reason to follow

Yesteday i check with www.51attack.com but they said that they don't want to add any more coins... still trying to get in touch with more sites to get KDC accepted. Honestly, if someone can create a KDC Poker site then we can reward him nicely, in fact he will be rewarded indirectly by taking for example 10% of the revenue...

I was also in talk with Hostdab (that is currently using Xivra), the response was that we were not listed on coinpayments, so if we can have access to coinpayments then i'm sure that a lot of doors can open for KDC.

If you can find out what system they are running, we may be able to set them up a plugin for it.... (may be able to, really depends what it is)

It's going to be running on some sort of shopping cart i'd imagine if they are using coinpayments.net - so if they are using something like opencart, we can give them a plugin to take KDC.

Ok, i will have a little check with the guy. It is interesting for both of us. For KDC and for Hostdab, they will increase their number of customers and we will increase the number of sites/products that you can use KDC for. so it is always a win/win situation. The only thing that they lose is time to set it up
