1 - Digibyte still alive after 2 years of development... which is very rare in the altcoin scene.

2 - Digibyte is up-to-date... I mean that Jared & co (the Digibyte team) are always here to improve DGB and all its related components/features (blockchain, wallet on multiple device...)

3 - Digibyte is actually very cheap, it can't be a bad investment if you are patient enough. At this actual price, i'm sure you can make at minimum 300% of benefits in less than a year, because one day or another DGB will increase its price again. Few months ago, some of us bought cheap DGB at 15 satoshis, and sold them at 100 satoshis. But this is true only if you can wait for a middle/long term trade.

Sadly 2016 isnt going to be such a good start for DGB looking at the charts on Poloniex & Bittrex its not a very good sign for new comers to enter into DGB its just sell sell sell....said it once will say it again there is far to many DGB coming onto the market each day for DGB to sustain a stable price...since the introduction of gaming & being paid with DGB its just constantly gone down....if nobody can see that you must all be blind

Look at other Alts even though the price of BTC has risen they have managed to sustain a small price reduction yet DGB has slide further & further down the price chart

I hope things do improve but 2016 doesnt look like its going to be as good as you all think it will be

Indeed it’s not rocket science, as they say. Let’s just imagine that you were able to acquire all the DGB being mined, we are talking about a couple of BTC worth each day at these prices and around a quarter of the current daily trade. The amount of DGB being mined can only go one way and that is down. Only trade is able to keep the price of DGB down right now and it simply isn’t sustainable with a coin with as much going for it as this one has, no matter what they want you to think!

Its not going sideways its going down, yesterday 30 sats today 29, just goes to show nobody is buying, well may be a few are but the volume of coins hitting the market is greater than the buys.......there isnt enough support for DGB at this time or should i say much confidence for others to invest.

Why is it there is now road map or business plan like other coins have, show some information on whats being developed or features new to the coin in the coming months, at this moment in time all we have to give to anyone interested in investing is a word of mouth that this coin is going to be great......not exactly something you could go to a bank with to ask for backing to start up a business is it.

Jared you should seriously consider coming up with some kind of business strategy for DGB during 2016 or this coin may just fall out of the public eye & just die, i could point you in the direction of a coin that does just this & trust me its had its belly full of trouble in the past but still marches on & set to be one of the top 10 Alts in 2016-2017 but im not here to promote other coins i am not a TROLL

I supported the price with about 5btc last couple days and still hasn't filled completely yet so your sell sell assumption is wrong.

You are just plain wrong and I feel bad for your lack of patience as you're going to miss out. The charts on DGB look like a dream. We are starting to curl up with heavy support relative to asks. The reason DGB fell back so much is because it was pumped so hard. This is as good as it gets regarding a buy zone/opportunity. 30's are literally free DGB we won't be here long. Go look back through here I posted a chart showing that was dead on with price beginning to rise. Happy New Year guys/gals this is going to be the best year for crypto in a long time.

Just look at Poloniex's charts for DGB:
8th Oct 2015 - 13.8 million DGB bought that sent the price from 38 to 222 SAT.
31st dec 2015 - 13.5 million DGB bought that sent the price from 30 to 34 SAT.

Moral of the story - Pump & Dump destroys the price of any and every altcoin...even Bitcoin. the higher the pump, the more space/room created for more coins to be sold within those newly conquered price ranges. More checkpoints for resistance = huge sell walls at those checkpoints. which in turn harms the coin's price growth, making it difficult for it to reach a higher price.

The only few ways to solve this is for Digibyte to go even bigger, attracting more bigger investors (pump like growth) or tons of small investors (gradual price growth) to get us out from this recent pump-and-dump hole AND IN ADDITION create a market ecosystem, a usage flow for DGB to be bought and sold, to be used. without the market ecosystem or usage flow, the next pump and dump will hit DGB's price even bigger and harder. if memory serves me well, this recent pump to 998 SAT is DigiByte's 2nd pump and dump. 1st was around Jan/Feb 2015, which got pumped to 120+ SAT.

So what is the wise thing to do now? Prepare for the next one. DON'T FREAKING MISS THE NEXT ONE. learn your lesson well, just as i did for the 1st DigiByte's price pump and dump. we dunno if history is going to repeat. all we can do is be prepared or help DigiByte in whatever ways you can. For the developers of every altcoin, it is very difficult to take control of the price in the early stages. Because lots of development is needed in order to do that. partnerships, building technology/products, collaborations, etc. not every altcoin is like Ethereum that can start off big and support its price well.

Be patient and study the coin's situation.

Anyone who doesn't see 30 sats as a new years gift is solely focused on the prolonged dump and not looking at reality. TRADE WHAT YOU SEE. 30 sats is a GREAT buy. The support exists, it is simply trying to trick a few more weak hands into selling to it at the bottom.

But maybe you know that and are just posting bearish comments because you are also trying to trick people into selling to you at the bottom.

Just look at Poloniex's charts for DGB:
8th Oct 2015 - 13.8 million DGB bought that sent the price from 38 to 222 SAT.
31st dec 2015 - 13.5 million DGB bought that sent the price from 30 to 34 SAT.

The rise from 38 to 222 was after a breakout.  Once you take out all the supply on the orderbooks, then you rise fast with more buying.
When you are in the middle of a trading range and the orderbook is full, it takes a lot to move the coin.  However, this is the time to accumulate cheap so that you will be able to take profits on the pump.
