Broken or incorrect links really do need to be fixed, newcomers will be put off by them. its the simple things that make the biggest difference. The http://digibytewiki.com/ email PHP script has also not been configured properly, I get this massage when creating an account "Unknown error in PHP's mail() function."

Hi there,
I made 2 transactions whilst my wallet was out of sync.
As a result it hasnt appeared on the blockchain with the correct txid.
It also hasnt arrived at the designated address even though it has around 1500 confirmations.
Have I lost my coins?
The exchange site isn't being very helpful about it.
(taken from wallet 01/01/16)

This happened to me too when 2 days out of sync Your wallet could be months out of sync, but your coins are still yours when you do open your wallet someday and sync since they are assigned to your address on the blockchain - what you need to be sure about is that the address is correct. Well I sent them to poloniex address, I copied and pasted it correctly and set as an address book. I've previously sent money there but this time I had issues, Im still having issues syncing the DGB wallet im stuck at 4 days out of date ATM

These aren't valid transactions. They cannot be found using the digibyte block explorer. (Yes, I searched for them without the -000 on the end) The coins should still be available in your wallet. You can search the blockchain for the address DDR2pXgfpcbV3BFuANkqoggGmVaCMzmDsS and see that it only has 13k DGB in it and the last transaction is from Nov 11. Make sure you aren't using an old version of the wallet. Check your version and make sure it's at least 4.0.3. If it's not at least 4.0.3, then save your wallet.dat file and install/upgrade the new version of the wallet.

Hold Shift and right click and you will have an option that says "open command window here." Execute the command "digibyte-qt -reindex" and the wallet should start resyncing.

The one newbie trader on Poloniex ended up losing 10 btc on digibyte when they sold at around 100, it means they would of lost far more if they waited. Like 24hralttrade said we have to wait for more people like this to push the price up so we can sell at over 100 again. It might only occur once a year but you need to be in early and wait for the pump and dump.
I would take that bit of information with a huge pinch of salt, loosing 10BTC selling at 100Sats would suggest that they bought 10Mil DGB at 200Sats and sold the lot when it hit 100, can you spot any 10,000,000 DGB dumps when we were at 100 ? You also need to take into account that BTC was $260 when DGB was at 200 and then $374 last time DGB fell through the 100, so that's an increase of $114 per BTC. So to calculate 10Mil DGB Bought at 200 Sats would be $5200 (Max possible price for DGB so far) and then sold at 100 Sats a few weeks later for $3740 so a loss of $1460, not a total loss imo. My Math could be completely out so please don't take this as fact in any way.

My Math could be completely out so please don't take this as fact in any way. That person was partly responsible for the spike to over 400 on poloniex, I don't know the details of the amount of btc used to purchase. My guess is anything between 20-30 btc purchasing came from that one individual to have lost 10 btc. Question is, how often will a buyer like that come around? I am sorry but buying something which was 24-48h worth about a tenth of the value your paying is just plain stupid. I don't know what your point is but if your a bad trader then you lose money that's just the name of the game; its the same with stocks, forex, commodities or whatever else people like to trade. What digibyte needs is strong organic grassroots sustainable price growth and not some shady P&D scheme perpetrated by a few individuals for personal profit. If your searching for a coin where you can make x10 profits in a few days please look elsewhere.

Nice buy support on Polo i have to say but if it were me before it goes i would just buy the big 3BTC sell order & knock the manipulation sideways...i know i know your all going to say then do it yourself but i am sad to say I have my fill of DGB & intend to not buy anymore until i see some major improvement in the sell sell sell situation...The thing is sometimes you have to turn the tides before the situation improves, just sat with buy orders ist working....attack the market show some balls

O no, somebody is going to comment that its not about the price, and DGB is all about community, coin features and future technology and its a long term coin and not a featureless pump and dump scamcoin..... But I agree with your comment, watching with anticipation of a incoming price rise, does not need to be a big one just enough to cover the price of what I put in (so far).
