MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE WITHIN 24 HOURS.

that means its NOT optional!

This update will feature :

-Heartbleed bug fix

-Coincontrol

-Blockreward goes from 50 to 15 in block 240.000

@DEV-team : Do we need first to download the update from one week ago, or can we directly update this update from today ?

U can update directly to the latest version from any version following bumface's steps.

OK thanks...

One more question, as a noob and a not native english speaker is step 6 still not clear for me. I have serious UTC in my wallet so dont want any risk.

You are Dutch or Belgium yes?

Please explain to me step 6 in Dutch, if not here then please in a PM...

"Step 6 : Extract the folder from the download somewhere, now drag the Ultracoin-qt.exe from the new download into your normal wallet folder (not into the
appdata/ultracoin folder but your wallet folder)"

Wat ik gedaan heb;

-download wallet
-extract wallet

dcgirl, I don't want to keep being negative on this thread. I really am just wasting my time. I'll just say I don't agree with the decisions made concerning the direction of the coin. I am not a bagholder, and I have not lost anything because of ultracoin (just a small amount of optimal mining due to the orphans). I don't think ultracoin will have a real effect on scrypt-chacha based coins. I am envious of the ubiquity of UTC. It seems to be on 95% of the exchanges.

I am not a coder, and I'm not nearly half as smart as basically all the people in the yacoin community for instance. But there are certain trends that occur on a more macro level. One trend was fast confirmation times and then it ended a while back. There was a trend of ZERO premine that apparently went away. I believe the IPO concept is also going away--thank god. And I think we are starting to see an end to premined airdrops. I foresee a big trend focused on PoS/PoW quickly achieving pure PoS and perhaps with multipools, a la blackcoin.

The previous transactions and free interactions of risktakers set prices and signals in a way not one person can predict. Market penetration is one concept completely foreign to developers of 'clones'. My focus is more on the economic implications (which is mostly theory) vs technical. Any further discussion can be taken somewhere else.

Ah, he's probably asleep now. I've been avoiding downloading the wallet, I hate wallet updates. But I'll see what I can figure it out.

Agree. We've been contacting exchanges to get more pairs anyway (utc/ltc, utc/doge, etc) so we can use them in the arbitrage site. Feel free to send them a tweet or support ticket about it, the more help the better on this sort of thing.
