a thread on a forum does not make or break a coin, its developments and the buy/sell ratio,the demand is not there at this time and that will change.

because of the circomstances that can be read in the last pages, the developments have slowed down for now,that says nothing about the future of a coin,so if you plan to sell at a loss that is very unfortunate...

People who have been with us from the beginning know that this coin just cant catch a break.rocky launch,fouders leaving and dumping,hacked exchanges,pools ddos,but i told everybody i wont quit. and that purseverance will make this coin a succes eventually.

har1s - Yes I believe that the Android wallet is a critical step.

Questions to anyone:

How far has this progressed?

How much BTC or fiat to get a good one working to release stage.  When we know that we can make a plan.

How could we do it cheap or free?  I am thinking a tech challenge or project with some good Uni's or something. There are a lot of bright and motivated talents out there that would enjoy this opportunity.

Anyone have any good contacts at Tech Uni's?

Anybody know anybody that could do it?

OPEN LETTER TO BUMFACE

Dear Bumface ,

it is now about two weeks ago that the Devteam partially is gone .

Occasionally we hear from you, and then you're more in combat and defending against trollers and nagging ex members. Which is a hard, annoying and frustrating job to do.

Although there was two weeks ago a negative atmosphere originated on the UTC forum, especially by haters who saw their chance to demolish UTC, this was quickly reversed positive and a fresh wind came back.

Many members stayed positive to UTC and continue to believe in UTC. It shows even now that many members want to do something for UTC and want to work for UTC. There have already been many ideas and plans listed the last days.
 
But here and now we are missing leadership and a leader. We miss so to speak an engineer. An co-pilot and a captain.

Each ship has a mate and a captain needed .
Each store needs a first cashier and a manager.
Every serious company needs a director and a board of directors .

For the UTC members, but also for spectators at the outside, it looks now like UTC is a ship that is for two weeks at sea without an engineer and a captain.

I assume and believe 100% that you're been busy the past days to make further plans and to re-group the devteam. But this is a job mostly behind closed doors.

It is now high time for you to come on out as founder and director of UTC.

Every company should have future plans. And every company should disclose its plans to its stock exchange members. Especially in difficult times, otherwise members and investors can step out or new members and investors will not step in.

So consider UTC as an stock exchange company.

Dear Bumface, it is therefore big time to go public and let the community members know what the short-term plans are about ;

1. Who are the (new) members of the devteam team ;
2. Who of the devteam will do manage what ;
3. What technical developments are planned in the short term ;
4. Which marketing plans are planned in the short term ;

Can we get soon some answers from you ?

If any UTC community member have positive ideas, if you think you can help, please come forward.

20 pages have been added to this thread in the last seven days.  If you take away the "drama" and posts regarding the coinpayments vote, you would be left with about 1-2 pages of actual discussion about coin features or constructive feed back regarding Ultracoin.

There are several bad actors.  Unfortunately, Bumface, you are guilty as well.  I know it is very hard and disheartening to not only be attacked personally, but to also have you idea, project and investment attacked as well.  And a natural response will always be to defend yourself and your project.  But you just can't.  You can't commit enough energy to developing the project and defending yourself to naysayers at the same time.  You have to make a choice.  If you want to sit on this forum and the trollboxes and spend your time and energy defending yourself and your coin, then pass the development of the coin to someone else.  Or take the criticism like a champ and focus the negative energy on Ultracoin.  Nobody, you, me or anyone else, has the capacity to do both.  And honestly, if you left the trolling alone, many of us would greatly appreciate you for it.

I used to really enjoy contributing in this thread.  But I don't anymore.  Why should I spend my time writing out a thought (like this one) when it will get lost in 20 pages of bickering and only be read by people more concerned with who's to blame for a problem than how to fix it.  I'm still holding my UTC mined since launch.  But with every new page of horsesh*t added to this forum, I find it harder and harder to believe in the investment I've made.   I'm not giving up on Ultracoin (yet) but I see very little on it's horizons at this point.  Until things change, starting with the attitudes of this community and it's leaders, this coin will remain stagnant, or worse.

I kept mine UTC because I believe only Ultra anti ASIC and the fastest transaction. I'll wait though until a couple of years to prove this. if ultra have a place in the market, and ASIC design a UTC miner, then new N-factor change, so it can not be used anymore. I think it would be risky to design UTC ASIC miner. If DRK steady market, I believe ASIC will be issued and can be used longer time. But not for UTC because the setting is always changed.
