For your information and more transparence I want to tell you what the problem has caused:
It is a result of a failed bootloader configuration whereby I  could not boot the server properly and connect to it remotely. Due this I was not able to solve the problem very fast as I am used to do it and had to wait for the slow responses of my webhoster.

No data is lost (even if the server burned down I would have backups of all the data) and all funds are safe. Tomorrow the site should be back and we will talk about a redemption for all our users.

I am so sorry and hope you understand :/

PS: Auctions times will be extended
Sounds like a fair resolution (with regards to auction times being extended, etc).  Thanks for the detailed update.

Due this I was not able to solve the problem very fast as I am used to do it and had to wait for the slow responses of my webhoster. Of course I had the possibility to quickly setup a new server with the backup files of the db an script but our server came up with special security configuration that took some time to create so I decided to get the old one running in order to guarantee best possible site and funds security.

No data is lost (even if the server burned down I would have backups of all the data) and all funds are safe. Tomorrow the site should be back and we will talk about a redemption for all our users.

Don't know how anyone could complain. Your service is exceptional and I for one really appreciate what you have done.
Very glad to hear that everything will be ok.

Awesome! Thanks for this info. It's exactly what we need.

Dropping a line a day here or on the page (if viable) with a rough ETA (we won't hold you to it) so we don't have to check 4 times a day would be icing on the cake.

Thanks again for a great service and for caring for your customers needs.

Looks like progress? Hit "refresh" ~10m ago and it loaded the page I was looking for, though it appeared the db was rolled back a bit.

Feature: Please allow to filter for Auctions starting at 0. I find it all so cluttered by expensive crap that does not belong to the category and with such an option I could really stand out with stuff I really want to sell.

I'm planning to sell coins and the category "coins and bullions" is cluttered with totally overpriced stuff like "1 Deutsche Mark Coins 1962 & 1974" which are worth exactly 1€ and the auction starts at 3€. Your current policy attracts people to post shit hoping somebody will buy it some day. Barely any items labeled as auctions get any bids. Please create an incentive to put reasonable prices like eBay does. 1€ auctions for free. Everything else costs a listing fee. This is not to make you rich but to make it usable for your clients. You can re-invest this fee 100% into adwords for bitmit. I don't care but please introduce a fee or any incentive to not clutter the market with bullshit. It will not work if you allow crap all over the place.

Also orders from users that are now missing? One user ordered an item from my but trying to send him a message fails with "user not found".

EDIT: site is blazingly fast now, congrats on the new server Wink

You need to fix this fast my account was only a week old and is missing.  The account doesn't even exist. Are the funds for my account still in escrow?
