I say let this coin die, just like the way i am going to kill the dev in Berlin. Do not promote this fucking coin when this motherfucking german assfucked kid is sitting with 2million coino. No way in hell he deserve to dump all that shit. Lets instead make this shit german coin go down to 1 satoshi.

I feel kinda bad for giving up on Coino so early, but in my conversations with Mr Coino, it quickly became clear he wasn't who he said he was & as bad of a promo to claim his big marketing firm affiliation was, I knew that was a lie early on. You can learn a lot of a person in just a few PM's but we want to believe! Now, I'm simply a devirginized crypto troll & all out of Kool Aid...

Again a coin where dev loses interest but the coin still has an active community.
I do wonder though, since source code is available, how hard would it be to relaunch a coin?
Does anyone know of some other coin that had the same issue (dev being inactive) but was relaunched by community?

A re-launch would require a fork of some kind ( a change ). More than likely rendering all previously mined coins worthless & sticking it to the people whom stood behind the coin from its original launch. Then all you have is another new coin, with the people that were interested in this one. If you want to support the coin, mine it. Pretty simple.
If the fork dosent involve a new block chain, it is possible, that IF the 'new fork' gained popularity, and 'value'.. the original dev could return, dump all premine.. and benifit from others work. Which considering how most coins work.. isnt a bad deal.. because most of us, just click a few things, and mine.. and let the dev do all the work.\\

Jesus H christ. Take all the polls you want. Facts are facts. Fork the coin w/new block chain = new coin and ya shove it to the previous miners. Fork it with NO new block chain and your work may be fruitfull to the premine. Theres nothing to discuss, talk about, yapp about, have a consortium about.. twiddle thumbs about, hymm & haw about, take polls about.. keep posting about.. THATS IT cut n dry. Take it..or leave it.

I don't think creating a new coin would be the way to go because that would defeat the purpose of revitalizing the coin. Yes, if by chance this coin succeeds, the person holding the premine will benefit. But maybe they deserve it. It's not like they didn't put in any work. And who knows, that person might even come back and support the coin.
I do think this coin needs some re-branding, such as a new logo and an entirely new roadmap.
