Technical details
● POW Algo: Dagger Hashimoto (Ethash)
● Block interval: ~15sec
● Block reward: 600 CLO (30% treasury fee)
● 100% compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine
● The maximum supply: 6,500,000,000 CLO.
Callisto implements an Ethereum Virtual Machine, which allows to run
Ethereum-compatible smart-contracts written in solidity or viper programming
languages.
Callisto emission and maximum supply is increased compared to ETC 72% of
total Ethereum (and ETC) supply was distributed during the crowdsale. This would
have a negative effect if we sent such a huge amount of coin to the cold staking. As
the result it is necessary to increase the neutral CLO emission to compensate a huge
amount of pre-distributed stake.
Goals

Callisto primary goal is to boost the growth and the adoption of Ethereum Classic as
a community and as a platform.
Such as important goals for us we have:
● Research, define and develop reference implementation of cold staking
protocol, built-in governance system and self-funding mechanism.
● Improve the security level of the whole Ethereum Classic and Callisto
ecosystem with official auditing team and secure contracts registry.
● Research experimental possibilities of scaling and cross-chain interaction.

It may will take several weeks before you will see your precious DigiByte again. Poloniex are notorious for getting coins stuck in transit for weeks (sometimes months) at a time.
Your only hope it to put in a ticket with Poloniex support (do not keep repeating the ticket as they may just ignore them all) and hope for the best.

I hope all these withdrawal issues would settle down once Circle takes full control of Poloniex and rebrands it to a new version to take over Binance/bittrex and lists the latest coins/tokens to improve its liquidity.

Now the picture is crystal clear what happened here. Poloniex was offered a buyout from Circle and will now pass the buck to their team to handle all support issues. As soon as they were approached they probably started laying off staff to maximize profits and sent a big FUCK YOU to the crypto community. This explains why people have been waiting (some a year now) for response to support tickets about deposits and withdrawal issues. I honestly can't believe they would buy this shitstain of an exchange. The amount of support tickets they will have to deal with just to restore confidence in this exchange isn't worth the acquisition. I suppose they believe the Poloniex user database was worth it.

I have a feeling this acquisition will end up like the MintPal and Moolah fiasco.

For what i have seen in last years at least 1 or 2 or more, no poloniex staff interacted here with users, this thread is abandoned by official polo members, by a lot of time....

Thanks Poloniex, you made me lost money (about 1000$) but you made me discover DEX (decentralized exchanges). I use CryptoBridge for two weeks and I love it. Small volume, may be higher fees (didn't see difference in fact) but :

- I keep control on coins (exchange don't have private key), and of course I lose coins if I lose the key,
- really decentralized exchange (never goes down),
- never had to contact support for pending or lost deposits or withdrawals, once sufficiently confirmed on chain coins transaction is done (it's magic, if you know how stressing deposits and withdrawals became cause of all these scammy exchanges you will understand me),

for the inconvenients (for now) :
- slow (10 seconds to refresh and sometimes need to relaunch interface), but I don't care, I want safe trade, don't need insta trade,
- not a lot of volume for now,
- ETH/ETC missing for now but I hope they will include them sooner or later.

I use web interface with Iridium Browser on Windows, I didn't try the native interface.

FU Poloniex, 6 months you troll me, you will never see me again on your shit exchange.

The new KYC rules might have been a prelude to starting fiat markets instead of using USDT. Any US exchange accepting fiat must use KYC rules.

So far, I've only had minor problems with Poloniex - deposits and withdrawals delayed. Now something weird is going on with GAME deposits. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever see my coins again.

I deposited about 0.2 BTC worth of GameCredits (GAME) into Poloniex. Txid: 7a51674740c4172bade8fa3c0e9eccad0aa717a09cb5ff9dc086a055ecc73cf9

It has enough confirmations, I can see it in a block explorer, but Poloniex refuses to credit it. And the coins weren't moved to another address since they arrived at the Poloniex deposit address.

Some guy at Reddit (r/GameCreditsCrypto) asked how long does it take to transfer GAME from Bittrex to Poloniex. He posted the question about the same time I noticed my GAME deposit was not credited.

Poloniex should look into what's going on with their GAME wallets. That's assuming they're not trying to scam people.
