FWIW: The vid and DASH itself are receiving a lot of criticism by Kristov Atlas on Facebook, see the conversation here:
Looks to me like Juan S Galt tamed him. A masterclass in constructive exchanges and avoiding flamewars. I would not have kept my cool like that - I'll need to follow more of his work

Three fat fucks yelling and babbling incoherently having a fratboy party with fist bumps and childish behaviour for half an hour. One of the fat fucks is smack talking Evan for having red hair, which is a very mature, compelling argument against the project, the other outright dismisses it for its marketing w/o any actual reason and the third fat fuck is a food critic (figures) turned developer w/o credentials concern trolling about people losing their lives and yet here we are with nobody of them able to de-anonymize this simple transaction: Dash De-anonymization ContestIcebreaker and other trolleros: I have donated $1 to Monero's development team. I sent 0.25 Dash (TX ID: 59d51690d4b56ddbf1e393fa8d3a49bcfc3247f270f36be3b6ee411802666cba-000) to shapeshift.io, which converted it to Bitcoin and sent it to the official Monero donation address listed at https://getmonero.org/getting-started/donate/. I challenge you to de-anonymize this transaction. To make it just a little easier, I only used four rounds of Darksend, so it's exponentially less private than it would be with the maximum eight rounds. Please tell me what address this transaction originated from. Cheers! This video is another disgrace to Moronero and those idiots should be ashamed of having their main dev displaying himself like that. Pathetic. De-anonymize DarkSend or shut the fuck up, faggypony.

Unfortunately I expected this response. Evan is currently at a retreat with dozens of bitcoin leaders and you cannot name one respected person who supports DASH. I think you'd better go back and read my previous posts. You don't seem to be getting the message.

I wish I valued "pats on the back" from the bitcoin devs as much as you do. It'd sure be a whole lot cheaper for me Unfortunately I expected this response. Evan is currently at a retreat with dozens of bitcoin leaders and you cannot name one respected person who supports DASH. I am not seeing the purpose of posting such a thing here in their thread. Aimed at TechorMarketing btw.

You don't care what competent people think. I do care what "competent people think". But I'm at liberty to decide what for myself what their competences are and are not if I'm investing my own money. I'm sorry but despite your valiant attempts I won't be investing in the bunch of drunk clowns in your video.

Something is wrong on your end if you can't mix 20 dash with 8 rounds in less than 2 hours. Or else your settings are made to wait a long time between rounds.
Mixing is not at all as stable as it needs to be. It hangs when I mix almost every time and I need to restart my client or zap the wallet to get it going again. I do wish there was more focus on polishing the current release. I have the feeling that there might be a stampede into Dash before Evolution is ready. it is all work now is on 12.1 Evo is much later ! Evo is just an addon though....correct? Evolution is a decentralized payments layer we are adding on top of the existing Dash network. You can think of it like a decentralized ‘frontend’ being added to Dash with the current system being the ‘backend’. It’s entirely optional though, you can still use full desktop clients and raw addressing if you want, but I think this will be just miners, node operators, power users and users who want the highest level of privacy (which I think is most of crypto users today).

Dash needs miners very, very badly, to secure the blockchain. Is this statement correct?

This statement is true for all proof-of-work coins as the blockchain security relies on the miners doing their part.

This statement is true for all proof-of-work coins as the blockchain security relies on the miners doing their part. And yet, Dash treats miners very, very poorly (perhaps the worst of any coin). Would you say this statement has any veracity to it, at all?

"Dash" is not treating miners poorly. Are there not enough miners? (Now it's my turn to ask the questions, ha ha!)

I won't respond to being trolled by newbie accounts. I am invested in Dash (less than a full masternode). I will never sell them, so I am like an MN owner who has no power to vote, or make more Dash from my MN, because I am too poor. Yet the Dash I hold, cold and away from the markets, still has a beneficial effect on the coin's price and liquidity. You should love me...you should want more mugs like me. However, I am still an investor, with legitimate concerns about the model's sustainability. I am not a troll, I just need to get some answers from somebody who is more knowledgeable than I am. Is there anybody out there?

some trolls in here really need to work on their marketing Speaking the truth is not trolling. If you disagree ask Evan to stop hiding in his room and be interviewed by Bitcoin Uncensored and answer some simple questions. You mean ask Evan to stop doing work and writing code? Fluffyponyz can spend all the time he wants on internet forums, reddit, twitter, and doing interviews with unprofessional slobs that he wants. Maybe if he didn't spend 28 hours a day writing comments and replies to people the monero GUI wallet might actually be done? Should Evan entertain the thought of going on this live interview with people who have a preconceived notion about who he is, with people who slander his character and make rude comments about the way he looks? Why would Evan give children like this the time of day? There are more professional podcast/youtube hosts who can ask tuff questions and not remark about the way people look, Evan will probably choose one of those professionals over slandering butter balls any day.

Yeah, and I let him have it on Twitter after that little exchange! Condescending, with assumptions, but no facts to back up any of his statements. He totally lost my respect after that. Indeed, it's sad to see Kristov Atlas act that way. I too have lost respect. I also find it all weird to be honest.
