Anyone knows, how those bots on exchange are behaving ?
I have to say it... Don`t want to blame DASH, but have no other explanation to this. A several days ago, I bought DASH for 27 BTC, and letting it in a wallet, for longer term purpose... Last few days, when I saw DASH price, trying to climb up, and immediately taken down by a low volume. Price was moving around 100 - 109... Ok, I decided to sell all DASH, because of not good feeling, that it will go down more and more, instead of fact, that MACD 1h and 4h were performing somehow...let`s say stable. So today I sold all of them, and immediately price went to 115, and few hours later, we are on price, where I originally bought them. My point is, that market is either very deep manipulated, not even bots, but also big holders. I know, I`m new in crypto, but have somebody explanation for that ? For me, it seems, that bots were given its "fuel" (I bought DASH during correction) and now, when bots get DASH amount I previously bought, they manipulate price up to that level, where I originally bought...Loss is my mistake, I will not cry about those 5BTC, which I lost this morning, but I do not like this way, manipulating behavior. Even now, buying or selling such amount of DASH, will make price difference about +- 0.001...
I've been having fun watching the price all week, trying to understand things, and frankly, I think it has to do with when people have funds available (or are awake). Last week, same time - thursday, we had a price rise, and I expected one today. I was delighted to see it happen (because it made me feel like I found a reason for something happening) But in truth, I don't think any of it's real. Next week it'll be a new thing. I know there are patterns etc.. that come up with stocks but personally, I think the crypto market is just too small. Maybe not BTC but Dash has so little volume, when someone wants to buy any amount, the price skyrockets, then the bots bring it down (just where it shows on the charts, meaningless really) and then people freak out and sell into the buys. So it depends on how you look at it. It's being manipulated only by those willing to be manipulated, and otherwise (the stronger non-bot tiny buys and sells) are what you need to distinguish against, IMO. Anyway, aside from itchy fingered people, and the bots selling/buying to make it look one way or another, there isn't any "whale" action going on (aside from buy/sell walls which encourage people who really want to buy/sell now, to go toward the center of asks and buys) It looks pretty normal to me.
Frankly, I'm realizing that if I want to buy or sell, I should give myself plenty of time, choose the best likely price point I can get, and wait for it. There is a ton of swing every few hours. You have to have time, and check your emotions at the door. This is all easy to say, I haven't done it yet, LOL. It's been my 1 week long learning experience, which is so limited, it's actually funny that to think I could have learned something, I'm sure there is more to it.
Anyway, my actual solution is to never sell unless I have to
Oh, and if you have a lot of Dash to buy or sell, there isn't enough liquidity to do that in one go. You have to do it slowly. Just about any amount over 100 Dash moves the market a lot.
