Dash depositing takes less than 12 seconds (looks very cool in comparison with 12 confirmations that requires poloniex).
It is great for everyone who uses Exchanges as a simplified "mixer"-anonymizer through altcoins.
You can quickly deposit Dash - "launder" money through the EXMO - and can withdraw them quickly (including Fiat currencies)!

Neat little feature, but not the best marketing copywrite alex  Grin

"launder" and "exhcange =  gasoline + fire  Tongue

I`ve never understood that. I`ve heard people using tumblers and mixers when they want more anonymity, when they could go to some exchange and trade BTC for XY and back again. So I thought that exchanges somehow keep track of it.
How is it?

Because tumblers/mixerss usually operate under TOR and are by default rogue agents, while exchanges are legal entities with AML and KYL practices, and if not, I wouldn't touch them with a 2000km titanium pole.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

This is a fantastic interview.

Everyone in the whole world should watch this. I can now stop posting all over bitcointalk on this subject, relax and go ski-ing because all the points I've been trying to make are now hammered home so thouroughly that I can see this argument reaching critical mass.

This is a watershed interview and Dash's long term future is now fully secured IMO.

Whatever you do DO NOT watch minute 22:48. It may adversely impact your (Bitcoin or fiat) wallet.

It's also at the top of today's bitcoinchannel feed.

Because different people need different level of privacy.

Some people don't want to hide their transactions from the "whole world" - they just want to hide them from: wife, neighbor, competitor, his country's officials, ...
So it's not a problem for them if FBI gets their transaction history from exchange.  Smiley

Thanks. But Bittrex and Polo don`t give a fuck of who you actually are, right? You can open as many accounts as you want. But maybe you wouldn`t touch them with that pole  Cheesy

Given the fact that the Poloniex front-end is a bogus trading platform due to it's spectacular lag and "ooops, sorry, servers crashed", constant non-triggering orders at critical times, basically feeding the API bots... No, I would not touch Poloniex with any sort of pole, ever more.

They don't "give a carp" as long as you dont trade FIAT, but there is a 2k equity withdrawal limit, so take that into account.

If you are doing funny things, your IP is massively easier to attain and crap loads easier to hunt you down, if they so wish.

But, as mentioned, yup, they can indeed work great as low-level mixers.

Oh, just for the records, I don`t do funny things, as I`m far too noobish for this stuff. I can`t even use TOR. But I like reading about this and try to understand it. Thanks for the info!

Yup, another shoutout to BolehVPN (and Reuben, he's awesome.)

I simply cannot live without VPN right now. I am always on the move, and Boleh is rock solid !  Increased my internet speed, I feel much safer, and in certain 3rd world countries I visit, I can actually surf the unrestricted 100% clearnet without issues. Even in europe, lots of bullshit censoring going on. No fake ISP throttling any more.

For what it's worth, Bill Gross thinks banks are doomed, too:

I still don't think he 'gets' it.  Once you can take out a loan with negative interest, fiat loses it's value.  There is no reason to ever pay the loan back.  A negative interest rate isn't just a temporary indicator that will bounce back.

His statement, "Luckily the banks are not charging average customers with negative interest rates.", is misleading.  Banks will use the monthly maintenance fee to implement the equivalent of negative rates.  Eventually, customers will leave as this fee increases.

I agree, but at least people are starting to see a glimmer of truth. You are completely right about fees increasing; banks WILL find a way to pass on any costs that affect their bottom line. Always.

It's just like when Congress was all gung-ho about ending the tax credits that oil companies get. I agree in principle, but all that's going to do is slightly increase the cost of gasoline. The oil companies will make sure to get that profit back, and will do so by passing along the costs to consumers.

Must keep the observations going  Wink

The Dash/BTC 1-Day chart (relatively long range for crypto) has had two OBV crossovers to the upside during the last quarter. The first (in December) precipitated a rally off the 0.0055 bottom to near 0.01 again, then corrected back to 0.07 during a 2-week profit take.

The second occurred in mid-January and took us all the way to 0.017, into near ATH territory, then corrected over a 4-5 week profit take and a bit of a double dip before stabilising around 0.09 where we are now.

The 1-Day chart On Balance Volume signal continued to diverge from its moving average till mid February at which point it started to converge.

A new crossover has just established itself in the last 72 Hours. (In perfect sync with calendar epoch crossover as it happens in case thats of any significance to anyone Grin  )

Lets just get a closeup on that perfected crosshair....

On top of that, the 10, 21 and 100 Day EMAs are all converging to conclude their correction from the upside move initiated back in mid January.

It's hard packed folks  Wink

From 0.0091 to 0.0095, not bad.
Dash silently but steadily dashing forward and onward ...

Edit : looking at the Poloniex orderbook this could get interesting, it could actually lead to a major price break-out : https://dc-charts.com/depth_dash.php?ex=16&cu=0&tz=5&ar=1

Edit : 0.0097 with 1.3K buy-order support at 0.00966,  where is the popcorn when you need it  Grin
