Bitnovo’s competitive advantage is allowing consumers to buy their gift cards in one of 30,000 physical stores, enter the gift card pin via their app or website, and then receive the respective exchange amount of Dash or other cryptocurrency in their wallet within minutes. I can see that DASH has achieved a rapid adoption in Venezuela and its a stepping stone to worldwide mass adoption given its robust and secure network. I think many more merchants would gradually adopt this in the next few months.

Litecoin Whale Brings Decentralization Issue to Forefront Litecoin has recently come under scrutiny for having 35.4 million Litecoins, or about 60% of the total coin supply, moved by one entity.
The move was initially pointed out by Weiss Ratings, which does not bode well for the cryptocurrency to stay decentralized when so much of the coin could potentially be owned by one individual or group. A blog post from Litecoin.com also highlights just how big of a move it was. |

Cryptocurrency Users Double Despite Price Downturn, Dash Mimics Trend A new study by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance shows that cryptocurrency users nearly doubled from last year and have more than tripled from 2016.
The study looked at both total accounts and verified users from 2016 to 2018 and saw a similar increasing trend for both categories. |
