False. the core tech is a dangerously insecure bastardization of the bitcoin protocol. end of story

How do you figure that? Please explain.

dangerously: its closed source
insecure: closed source: not verifiable
bastardization: everything is just copied (except for the pseudo decentralized masternodes)

i would add: and lacks a competent dev and a nice and open community Wink

Guys 100% promise this is not meant to be FUD but what has happened to DRK price why has it fallen so much? Hoping to avoid having to trawl back... Is this software related of just the general poor market at the moment?

Fair enough, have not really looked at DRK recently and was just a bit shocked to see it where it is, although could also say that for quite a few other coins...

The cryptomarket overall is pretty much bleeding. Just give it time, still many good news coming like Atlas report, open source and so on.
The only positive thing with this crypto meltdown is that most shit/scam coins will die once for all.

Regulations in New York are causing problems.

The regulations make using DRK even more attractive.

It will be open source after RC5. They announced that a long long time ago. Darkcoin is still being developed as I'm sure you know. Im sure most people would disagree about Evans competence and ability to write code. He's doing something Nobody else has done.

Consider innmlist is not a 100% sign of RC4.

If a pool has several stratum pools(mixed RC3 and RC4), status can be changed.

So check using http://drk.poolhash.org/masternode.html?srch&nmstr=poolnametocheck
(change poolnametocheck to poolname)

http://drk.poolhash.org/mnode.html
(has link to http://drk.poolhash.org/masternode.html?srch&nmstr=poolname)

Will update ASAP

does it explain the sudden rise in the graph?

Quick question, after updating to version .29 **on Windows**, do you still have to leave the limit of darksend rounds on 1, or can you increase it now?

Thanks,

Tao

rc5 is not now... i will change my mind if it gets open source.
evan: no one has ever written a peer finding protocol which then executes a protocol copied from somebody else... i have my doubts Wink

btw.. a good programmer is way more that developing a specific feature (even if its a core feature). i had a very good laugh with this launch (eg round count ignored with darksend - possibilies are 1) nobody every tested it 2) it wasnt a mistake to do a favor to his mn-buddies 3) he was in a hurry and released to early - ANY programmer should test his stuff.. so i can say he is not a good one)

I've never seen devs rushing to deliver a complete disaster software just to fix it multiple times a day, they think they are developing a game !!!! all tests should be on testnet and should take enough time to be sure everything works exactly as it was intended to save users and the network from some bad shit that could happen, completely irresponsible.

Bitcoin devs always take their time and test months before releasing anything... but welcome to the alt world, I am glad that I cashed out before the release...exactly as I expected.
