whats going on with the price..it keeps declining on and on...and some dumbass decided to unload 2k of dark on mintpal in such a rediculous price....fuck this piece of shit.....after the completation of rc4 nothing changed...if the price reach again 0.01 im going to unload 20k of dark and panic crash the price further...so fucking dissapointed it looks like whales are not interested by coin anymore...and no trust for the coin even though is the first one truely ANONYMOUS COIN out there....nothing changed
Probably because anonymity is a detriment going forward if you care about broad appeal and price. If you don't care about commercial value, then sure, its great. The echo chamber here won't tolerate divergent views though. |

Updated my MNs to RC4 have already watched 5 payments miss my masternodes and go to RC3 addresses instead. Helping the network is great and all but I really hope Evan grows a pair and sets a date for enforcement / hard fork. Let's see it happen in a week or so!!!
Is there something you don't understand about blockchain technology? Whoever has 51% of the network hashpower is always right...ALWAYS. The software will always see the 51% fork as the correct one, even if it isn't the one that Evan "wants." TL;DR If Evan turns on enforcement before a majority of the network updates, it will break the network. The non-enforced fork would literally become the dominant one. Dude what did i say. Set a date and turn it on. Give folks a week to update. rather than letting it drag on and on with no incentive to update. |

Overall I think the launch went well. Most people have had their coins denominated and to date all major "DRK are gone" problems have been resolved. At this point there are 2 issues I see that need to be addressed.
1) Darksend rounds > 1 never finishes denomination for a number of users (myself included)
2) Handful of users aren't seeing their transactions confirmed and be included in the blockchain -- this results in the coins getting stuck.
I expect Evan to take care of these in the next day or two.
I'm going to be working on #2. Can people send me the TXID's that are unconfirmed, their debug.log and a screenshot of the transactions tab? evan@darkcoin.iobump. if you have stuck transactions please do as Evan asks. goodmorning shojayxt good to see you a still interested in us poor drk folks... Just following along. I made made a moderate investment at the last low between .0073 and .0075. I anticipated a good bounce on the release of RC4 like many others. Unfortunately, due to a variety of circumstances, that obviously didn't happen. The good thing for me is that I sold at .009 and made a profit at least. I'll be keeping an eye on DRK because it has the potential for a quick turnaround. Gotta know when to get back in so I'll be following this thread closely. Don't worry, I'll be nice. |

The lag between comms with the MNs establishing the denomination process doesn't lock the coins, so you're free to try to send them whole the MN handshake is taking place. You make the send, then the MNs get back about OKing the denom, and now it's a double spend between the send and the MNs that accepted the denom a few minutes ago, but your client didn't know it yet, so it let you send... |
