Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Analysis of Bitcoin blockchain reveals that it has about 500k users in total.  That, seen globally, is absolutely nothing at all.  it's totally irrelevant.  the technology is interesting no doubt- it will not revolutionize the world's economy though as one can see clearly.

You sound about 15 years old.

I had a thousand conversations like this when the web and email were in their infancy so I think I'll leave you grow up on your own.

who cares how I sound like, the objective truth has nothing to do with subjective opinions.  Bitcoin if viewed globally is a measly drop in a grand ocean nobody except a few insiders care about.  comparing it with web email etc. is sweet and all, but of course not a worthy comparison at all.

I hate Paypal with a passion. Ebay as well. Can't wait until cryptocurrencies and decentralized markets make those fuckers bleed.

I took PayPal to court and beat their ass.  If I can do it, DRK can do it!

Great, thanks! Always nice to put the things in perspective...
Can be interpreted both as a weakness - immaturity and an opportunity to grow Smiley

DRK is not the first anonymous coin, this is a stunt just for making money. the price of DRK is too expensive for everybody.

Since updating my wallet to 0.10.12.27 I got 58 transactions as "Darksend Denominate" or "Payment to yourself" with -0.001 DRK:

But there is still no anonymized balance:

Wallet was online the whole day. How can I stop it paying denomination fees without anonymizing my DRKs? My settings are on standard, so 2 rounds of denomination.

Found this a few times in debug.log:

2014-08-14 15:15:29 DoAutomaticDenominating : No funds detected in need of denominating

Try setting DS rounds to 1, some people are having problems getting more rounds than that right now.

It still shouldn't be 58 transactions with a balance of 18 give or take on 2 rounds, even with 10, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1

Updated my MNs to RC4 have already watched 5 payments miss my masternodes and go to RC3 addresses instead. Helping the network is great and all but I really hope Evan grows a pair and sets a date for enforcement / hard fork. Let's see it happen in a week or so!!!

Get emailing the pools that haven't paid you!

It's been barely 24hrs, things will improve.
