Since updating my wallet to 0.10.12.27 I got 58 transactions as "Darksend Denominate" or "Payment to yourself" with -0.001 DRK:



But there is still no anonymized balance:


Wallet was online the whole day. How can I stop it paying denomination fees without anonymizing my DRKs? My settings are on standard, so 2 rounds of denomination.

Found this a few times in debug.log:

Try setting DS rounds to 1, some people are having problems getting more rounds than that right now.

Ok, I've set it to 1 now and see what happens. But as oblox says it shouldn't be 58 transactions.

Is there something you don't understand about blockchain technology? Whoever has 51% of the network hashpower is always right...ALWAYS. The software will always see the 51% fork as the correct one, even if it isn't the one that Evan "wants."

TL;DR If Evan turns on enforcement before a majority of the network updates, it will break the network. The non-enforced fork would literally become the dominant one.

It's been barely 24hrs, things will improve.

Overall I think the launch went well. Most people have had their coins denominated and to date all major "DRK  are gone" problems have been resolved. At this point there are 2 issues I see that need to be addressed.

1) Darksend rounds > 1 never finishes denomination for a number of users (myself included)
2) Handful of users aren't seeing their transactions confirmed and be included in the blockchain -- this results in the coins getting stuck.

I expect Evan to take care of these in the next day or two.

I'm going to be working on #2. Can people send me the TXID's that are unconfirmed, their debug.log and a screenshot of the transactions tab? evan@darkcoin.io

Are you sure they have never confirmed? I've set up a wallet with around 20 drk to try different things. I've left it denominating with rounds=2 to see what happens. I've seen that immediately I get something like 1 confirmed and 19 unconfirmed. Then they are all confirmed... and then back to the previous situation. It's happened 3 times in around 6 hours.

Yes, changed it to 1.

Changed it back to 2 now, which seems not to be good idea. Now my anonymized balance is 0 again.
I'll wait and see what happens.

Bitcoin is just not needed anymore then and DRK is by far the most interesting software, better than anything else, in any way.

A total failure in the whole Altcoin landscape is the pegging of the intrinsic value to the coins denomination.
If somebody wants to transfer 100 mil US$ on DRK it would have to be bought, driving the value up and down by idiotic margins.

Its much more intelligent to use the ledger to issue IOUs, which would peg to whatever the counterpart is paying for it.
Like on Ripple.

then at the end of shortcut added --salvagewallet

run it, let it rescan ... woala !

whats going on with the price..it keeps declining on and on...and some dumbass decided to unload 2k of dark on mintpal in such a rediculous price....fuck this piece of shit.....after the completation of rc4 nothing changed...if the price reach again 0.01 im going to unload 20k of dark and panic crash the price further...so fucking dissapointed it looks like whales are not interested by coin anymore...and no trust for the coin even though is the first one truely ANONYMOUS COIN out there....nothing changed
