Guys,I suggest you to just move your coins to BFX and show your support to them.
The volume here was a joke for months and I don't know how they didn't remove us ..

With huge volumes on Craptsy we will not impress any of the major markets like BTC-e, OKCoin etc. or some significant merchant..
Playing well on exchange like BFX, will attract more serious investors and other major exchanges ..
I would tend to agree.  If you look at the coin trading offered in BTC-e its all "old" timers.  I presume that with the flood of shit coins that came out in the last year...it was a safe move to stay the course.  Its a very shallow offering of coins there...but its, for lack of a better term, safe.  I'm certain that in the next several months they would list Darkcoin but for now I'm sure they will bide their time and see where things go.

like "whocares" says...we should be supporting BFX as solid home for our trades for now....and hold the course.

Edit: If you look on BTC-e...they are trimming even more, TRC, FTC and XPM are being shut down.  So they are consolidating things there....

PSA Otoh walls

A little test after this good news to see how well the price stays regardless of the walls, so they have moved back to the guaranteed 0.01111 spot for now and the Cryptsy one will be removed in five or so hours time, though I'll add to the 20,000 DRK one on BFX.

I don't think it will make any difference TBH.
You don't trust Cryptsy?

I do trust them, I have a total of 1.3 million ripple on there as well as 200 BTC, I'm going to take the BTC out though and concentrate my walls on Bitfinex from now on.
I think this is a good idea as bitfinex is where all the big btc whales play. The  interface is bit but more complicated than most exchanges but the added security is worth the time figuring it all out. Bitfinex is the big leagues and we would be wise to patronize them more.
Yeah there is a lot of big btc whales on Bitfinex but they dont trade altcoins. The biggest exchange for altcoins is btc-e, then cryptsy.
They don't trade DRK because there's not enough sell liquidity there. That can change in an instant just like it did when everyone went from cryptsy to mintpal. One of the main reason the volume went back to cryptsy after the mintgox Fail was because it was easy as everyone still had their craptsy account. That plus bitfinex's more complicated trading interface and 3 wallet system.

I heard many times on the BTC-e trollbox opinions like "craptsy - exchange for crapcoins/scams/shitcoins, DRK is trading only on craptsy ..." and etc.
I'm not saying to leave without any liquidity the biggest altcoin exchange, but just telling what I saw.
For the majority of traders and investors operating on these markets any coin out of the circle of highly respected exchanges is a joke/scam/crap and so on...

I think cryptsy got the craptsy name from being slow and buggy and not because of the coins they choose. BTC-e has plenty of crapcoins too.

That plus bitfinex's more complicated trading interface and 3 wallet system.

I think this probably turns people off. It doesn't take long to figure it out, but it doesn't take long to give up either.

I hope Otoh staying close to bitfinex helps facilitate us setting up base there.

. . .

All right then,
let get this rolling !

To everyone discussing exchange "volume," please remember that you can't really prove anything that goes on internally within an exchange.  You can't know which buys and sells are real (user-user), half-real (user-exchange), or just completely for show.

Maybe some people don't like the hidden orders...

Type of people that like to dump and buy cheaper. And can go bad in case of hidden orders.
Bots don't like hidden order too I guess...

So maybe those kind of people don't trade on bitfinex... And prefer the easily manipulated cryptsy market.

I prefer using Bitfinex.  I trust the security much moreso than Cryptsy.  You don't have problems with deposits and withdrawals either.  I recommend all Darkcoin community members to migrate to Bitfinex.

In 30 minutes I will remove the 0.01111 wall from Cryptsy, but the 20,000 DRK wall on BFX at 0.01111 will stay, arbitrage should keep things approx level but I'll leave the BTC available on Cryptsy for a while to see what happens and may put the wall back up or make large market buys if it gets too out of balance.

Well that seemed to go alright, DRK continues to trend gently upwards in the short term, even while BTC is trending down, so it looks like the Cryptsy wall is no longer needed to prevent dumps there and the Finex one will be sufficient.

Edit: Opps, lol, who just dumped 2.6k Angry

still very minor impact

Good move man, DRK should be traded on finex mostly. We might get more volume there with this move Smiley
