Not only is Evan going to prison, anyone operating a masternode is too.
Ok, he's getting ridiculous enough so it should be pretty clear for even a newcomer that the jelly loser is just trolling, so no need to continue refuting his retarded claims one by one anymore.

With this amount of thread sliding and vested interest trolling, it has to be good time to buy more Darkcoin. Buy the dips on the way up, guys

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release. Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5% Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1) = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

What's so ridiculous? You start a coin called "Dark", when someone tries to transact in illicit goods and your IP address is mixing the coins, why wouldn't you get a knock at the door? You should be happy for the free FUD, don't you want cheaper coins? Just wait a few weeks, all the insiders dumping DRK since it's a dead end criminal coin that's not even anon

I am not really that interested in DRK, but am entertained by the poor quality of the trolling here !

I suppose if we're all in jail it won't matter. Maybe we should do a promo that targets wardens to accept DRK for bribes in anticipation of our 'visit'.

i'm starting to think AdamWhite could actually be an anti-troll, hired by someone to pose as a troll but by making a lot of dumb arguments his actual goal is to strengthen that specific coin and its community. If he is i'm rather impressed, he is soooo believeable as troll ....
AdamWhite, i love you dude ... keep it going pleaseeee

In all seriousness though, i think we can all agree on 2 things:
Darkcoin is instamined and centralized.
Now, the question is whether the instamine was due to fraud or incompetence. Any real opinions or you just going to keep cheerleading and calling me a troll?

Is he an XMR holder?
A miner of sh*tcoins who's nose goes 3-feet out of joint at the fact that the market can have more authority to arbitrate over a historic low difficulty issue than him.

i'm gonna do both : Was Darkcoin Instamined?
~2mn coins were issued in the first 48 hours due to problems with the difficulty readjustment. That represents approximately 10-15% of the total money supply that will ever be issued. The majority of these coins were distributed through the market in the following weeks and months at very low price levels* (0.0000x BTC per DRK to 0.000x BTC per DRK) and a lot of them were also absorbed in the April/May 2014 price increase. • Examples of prices and selling action almost two weeks after launch: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg4861558#msg4861558 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg4889177#msg4889177 • Forum member coins101 did a blockchain analysis of Darkcoins distribution as of September 2014: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=778616.0 https://darkcointalk.org/threads/the-birth-of-darkcoin.162/AdamWhite:

Theres over 4300 pages to this thread. You think this is the first time some idiot's come here and made a scene? Have a good day. All i see is a bunch of cheerleaders on their knees, 'servicing' their cult leader criminal Evan Duffield (fake name, obviously) if i read the first page, or my sell history from the beginning, i can just laugh about the "instamine" ... that coins got very well distributed, if you look the market history they were sold cheap, and distributed well ... (someone has already analized that - just search for it) an the best argument is that the "instamine" is hidden ... fucking hilarious that it is even mentioned in the darkcoin wiki? and where did the dev made fucking millions with the called "instamined" ? - can you use a calc? extreme easy example, just to demonstrate the foolishness of such arguments ... if 50 % "instamined" that means rougly 2,5 mio drk (or xco what it was called in the beginning) ... the price at the beginning was ~ 0.0001 BTC per xco or even below ... so it was about 250 BTC to buy/sell these coins, everyone could have bought them that fucking cheap, yeah check the marketdata how many were dumped at the beginning for such low prices ... so even with 1 BTC = 750 $ i seriously can only get to a number of almost 200 000 $ - and the dev is working how long for that ? 1year+ .. wow with about 10 hours a day he is investing thats what 50 $ per hour of his work .... what a fucking scam hmmm? sry but thats not much for someone in the software development. (im a software developer myself and i earn more ...) -> and in this example i calculate that the dev mined 100 % - what i can say he has not because at least i mined them, too .... now you can argument that he just never sold and he is now a millionair, yeah, and? every inverstor would have made exactly the same if he would have bought and hold ... so what because you just not invested he scammed you? hahahahhaha WTS 500 XCO for 0.05 BTC.
PM offer.

Many coins were mined in the beginning, that is a fact that can be verified from the public ledger. It is a known property of the coin. A year ago when I was in every coin's launch mining (or trying to mine) not one launch was perfect. And I was in many of them. Darkcoin's launch was far from optimal. Question is, what does it matter? If you missed the launch, you could've bought 40k coins for 1 BTC weeks after the launch (the going OTC rate was 10k for 0.25 BTC). So the only concrete problem of mining many coins in the beginning is that in your opinion it is a fraud, even though I just told you it is not as it's all public information straight from the most official source in existence, the blockchain?

Incompetence then. So you put your trust into a so-called developer who can't even bother to test his code before releasing it. Not just that, but the whole thing is centralized. LOL

What ? Not enough controversy in Darkcoin for you ? Maybe we should start a few fights to make it more pallatble. "Where there is harmony let there be dischord" Wait a minute....

If any bug in a code means incompetence then I guess it's incompetence. Show me one competent developer then. Thing is, it's hard to test what happens when unexpected amount of hashrate is poured into your coin all of a sudden at the same time. At that time people were launching coins with all kinds of parameters imaginable, and launches ranged from catastrophic to bad. Not just that, but the whole thing is centralized.
You must have this mixed up with something else somehow.

What coin do you support that has been launched and never had a problem or needed a code update? Only so much one-man testing can go into code. Sometimes it has to be bombarded to break it or find the problem. When darkcoin got hit with all the miners it was clear there was an issue and it had to get fixed. That's what they did.
