So what am I going to do with this giant tattoo of darkcoin on my back, are you suggesting I now get blasted with high power lasers, scrub it down and change the name?
Well even if it's called dash there will always be the DRK side to dash

On a completely different theme, what about LATTICE.
I was thinking about the multi-dimensionality aspect and trying to get away from "wallets-vs-masternodes" and more towards the fact that they are tightly integrated (a masternode is a wallet and vica versa).
Lattice.

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release. Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5% Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1) = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

@eduffield Why don't you look into "Priva" or "Libera" both of which have roots in "free" & "freedom". Crypto is about gaining our financial freedom back.
"Dash" is a step backward imo.

Agreed. If it's really just shortening "digital cash" as @oblox suggested then that has got to be really worked through. It's a horrible name to jump to or even seriously consider. They should start sifting through the 30 pages of trademarks just associated with "DASH". Maybe there are some good logo ideas in there too! http://www.trademarkia.com/trademarks-search.aspx?tn=dash

DΛSH is digital cash. Transactions are obscured in the blockchain, making them private from the wallet. You can send Dash to family or friends, or pay for goods or services, anywhere in the world. DΛSH Anonymous and Untraceable. The Perfect Digital Cash And The Best Way To Protect Your Privacy https://www.dashpay.io DΛSH is 59.5 times faster with syncing and updating than Monero. My DΛSH Address: XgF6sNzGHU58dn36WsC16no9FHct6nPeZD

Priv or Libre would be fine. IX would of course be best. I suspect Dash is a done deal though, better get used to it...

Like someone already said, Dash = Dark Cash or Digital Cash, depends on who it's marketed to.
