Then the majority of the population is stupid.

See how "fair" the other 99.999% of the world's population thinks the "all of crypto" launch was when bitcoin goes back over $1000 and heads for mainstream.

It will put your crying in perspective  Cool

Haven't posted in a long time... been a holder/lurker on mainnet and testnet for a while.

I'm happy with the re-brand. I can actually have a highly intelligent conversation without getting red in the cheeks when I say "Darkcoin." When speaking with academics and finance professionals... I always feel childish when saying "Darkcoin." I already have a baby face and patchy beard. NOW, not only do I believe in the developer (as always, or I wouldn't be here), but now I have a name I can sling around with applied mathamagicians and finance peeps as well.

God damnit people. Stop quoting trolls for fucks sake!

They had 1 year to come up with a single legitimate objection against Darkcoin and after all this time they still regurgitate the same dead instamine horse. Why the fuck do you still react? It's the definition of insanity. Do you expect different results? Darkcoin works and the evidence is irrefutable just like the coins success. What insecurity complex do you have to engage the FUDsturds?

Click "Ignore" and be done with it, geez.

The Bitcoin instamine was to test the network...LOL!!!

Hey, you shadow people. Since you've got so little to do in your own threads that you like to spend time in here maybe you can makes yourselves useful for a change.

What happened to my shadow that I bought a couple of months ago that's now shrivelled away to nothing ?

When is it going to be worth something again ?

I've been wondering the same thing myself...  although it was really never worth "anything" to begin with, so I'm not quite sure what you are referring to.

However, I do hold quite a bit of drk (diversification, ya know?)...

I'm concerned as an investor.

If you are ok with the HUGE instamine, that's your own business.  I would like to see it burned.

Please don't take my arguments as an attack. We are all free to express our opinion and I'm just using that right.
I will not change my opinion about the unfair launch of darkcoin but as you are all dazzled by your investment in that coin, it's a lose of time to continue to express my opinion here.
Then, i'm leaving and I wish good luck to all darkcoin investors. Good bye!

No, you're right to question it. These fanboys will always attack those asking any questions.

In their mind, they truly believe that there is nothing wrong with a 2+ million instamine in the first 2 days of launch. That's cause they're a bunch of retards! Fuck darkcoin, you people are some of the worst scammers in this forum

I think the bigger issue is the drastic reward schedule change which favours devs and possibly some insiders.  It was available to be mined but few people could.

Yes it is an issue. Only problem is that no one has been able to come up with a concrete problem that it is causing or will cause. The closest candidate for a problem is that there will be FUD and some people will dislike it. But there will be people FUDing and disliking every project anyway so that's nothing special.

How was the name of the Monero Coin at the beginning. Can't remember it anymore...

Good Point, All I remember is it was a scam coin that got dumped.
Come on dude you cant just say that. Im a big darkcoin fan but you cant talk shit about other coins that you have no idea about. It is not a scam, Monero has one of the most fair coin distributions.

Sorry to quote the haters, but I just felt like adding my two cents: I think the instamine conspiracy theory is silly. You know how the old saying goes: Never attribute to conspiracy what can be easily explained by incompetence.

We've all seen how Evan handles releases (what was it, RC3, where the entire network forked into oblivion), so why do you think that the very first one was some sinister plot? Don't get me wrong, I think he's a big asset to this project, just more on the strategical than on the tactical level. That's why I'm glad it's not a one-man show anymore (releases have gotten smoother over time, too).

So to the trolls: Yes, not everything is ponies & unicorns in DRK, but when you take all factors into consideration (and step down the conspiracy theories a bit), it seems to me a lot more solid than most other crypto projects

INSTAMINE ALERT

Attention: The scam developers and close insiders instamined 2+ million DRk in the first 48 hours.

SCAM IN PROGRESS

TWAT ALERT

Attention: There was no deliberate instamine and early mined coins were fairly redistributed. ANYONE had the opportunity to buy as much DRK as they wanted for DUST during the early months of this coin.
