I don't know about "better" but Bitfinex definitely feels a whole lot "safer". It also has more trading features but fewer markets. It has a DRK USD market.

DASH Masternode numbers dropping, down to 2059 already. Looks like coinage moving to markets.
DarkcoinBot> kaene: 2059 active masternodes (source:drkmn|12s) @ 0.01047851 DRK/BTC (source:cryptsy|24s) = 21575.25 BTC / 6256823.11 USD in stake (source:btc-e|5m35s)
BS. Still over 2300, Try harder, but you now lost all credibility. Link? Check the bot on #darkcoin on freenode. Down to 2051 now. 7:08 PM <+DarkcoinBot> wpalczynski: 2051 active masternodes (source:drkmn|35s) @ 0.01036195 DRK/BTC (source:cryptsy|44s) = 21252.36 BTC / 6163162.99 USD in stake (source:btc-e|5m55s) Here's the link man https://drk.mn/masternodes.htmlAt the bottom after it populates it shows the amount of MN, showing clearly it is 2312 actives right now.

Here's the link man https://drk.mn/masternodes.htmlAt the bottom after it populates it shows the amount of MN, showing clearly it is 2312 actives right now. Whatever the tally it would be sensible to expect a few masternode cashouts. There are people who bought in because of the name and there will be people who cash out because of it.

Yeah, it's logical to expect it, but wpalczynski keeps pointing to a figure which is far from accurate. Almost 300 mn difference. Just correcting him.

Feel free to blame me, everyone, yeah this is all my fault. Darkcoin r.i.p. long live dash. I'm out, so long, and thanks for all the fish.
I closed my Masternode and sold / am selling all of my coins. Evan has caved to the political pressure Compromising the "brand" is a sign of intrinsic weakness I dislike.
if drk changes name... seriously if there is a name change i may have to dump drk i have for others DASH Masternode numbers dropping, down to 2059 already. Looks like coinage moving to markets.
Your support turns out to have been a mile wide but an inch deep. DASH has a bright future in the real world, too bad you cellar dwellers won't come out of the dark into the sunlight.

No. Some people do leveraged trading which is where (for example) you can borrow from the market to go short on an asset (borrow it to sell into a declining market then buy it back, return the borrowed coinage and pocket the difference). Those are "pro" type features. I think they also have stop losses and all kinds of pro type stuff. But you can also do just regular trading in "exchange" mode. Another reason people use Bitfinex is that it has fiat markets for Bitcoin , Litecoin and Dash <--

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release. Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5% Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1) = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

Looks like Bitcoin wants to correct first and I'm not going to see $300 tonight.
All the same, if it goes up at a steady $10 a day for the rest of the year we'll see $3000 BTC by December.

Why is IRC bot giving a much lower number? Coincidentally the same number as the number of unique ips. Maybe because those are the ones it can detect? I am not an expert hopefully you will get your answer soon. Ask on IRC or on darkcointalk.org, if you are truly interested. The point is it has always been like that, is not a new thing or related to branding. Good question though.

Good question though. the problem is not about any wrong counts on any pages or irc, but that wpalczynski take the high number from another page then the low number from irc, just to tell us masternodes are going down ... and thats some kind of a lie (dunno if intentinally) if you try to compare some numbers to get a delta you should take the numbers from the same source or it doesn't make any sense!
