I know many here will cry when Digital cash will worth 0.1 BTC  Excuse me, I know there is real life, but then there is real life! Kodak died, literally went bankrupt before being picked up, in just a year or two after Nokia released the first mass production affordable-almost-bearable-quality-crappy-low-light-600x800-0.5mpx-camera phones. We're talking about the historical giant of photography going to the ground almost instantly. People will cry when Bitcoin is worth 0.1DASH The only people who dont see this are the sellers. |

I'm still not happy with the way the name was changed esp as a foundation member. Never said I didn't want the name changed, always on the fence it was the execution and lack of transparency that upset me.
That said...
I do like the way this sounds...

I do like the way this sounds...

Again nothing has been changed as of yet. See the update on darkcointalk. If the community objects strongly then the name will not change. Having said that, however, after you disregard the troll posts it seems like people are starting to rally around the change. As for the name itself, that is also up for debate but DASH is the current leader. |

Look at this... This is Bitcoin /$USD right at the end of a 2-day buy cycle when it's exhausted it's bullishness on the 4-hour chart and due to start a 1-2 day correction. The 1-hour and 15 minute cycles pose no impediment and are already well crossed over themselves to the downside momentum-wise. Someone (clearly reading the "tea leaves" like I've just done) places a 200 BTC sellwal right at the bottom rung of the asks (i.e. it's a loaded gun - not a fake sellwal). So you'd think that would be the last nail in the coffin to get the correction going. What happens ? It gets munched in 5 minutes. Then the BTCe chameleon bears throw in the towel, start buying again and everything goes back green !  |

Since we are switching brands anyway, I think we should not pre-emptively chain ourselves to the old "D" design. Its awesome obviously, but the whole point is to go in a new more professional direction, and we might be able to scrounge up some really worthy logo designs! I'm not slamming the work above by any means, but we have quite an opportunity to consider some new looks.
