Actually, the voting ends at a certain block. There would be no reason to send 1000s of transactions early in the vote as it would create competition. So you wait until the bock before the votes are counted and put enough BTC in to make your choice win. Just like the end of an ebay auction.
Thanks for the video link. If the BTC are returned to you, there is still a cost in fees. Most likely an automated program can be created to create the wallets, vanity addresses, and vote. So maybe a combination of smarts and BTC would win the vote.
I see. I didn't think much about the transaction fees. Was thinking about how large deposits would be handled. What if I put 1000 BTC into one vote? 1 into 1000 addresses? Totaling up the balances just seems wrong. My guess is they are just counting 1 transaction as a vote and any transaction amount is still 1 vote. Just fire up the coinwallet.eu dust maker and you have all the votes you would ever need. :-)

Hey, i want to update to the newest version. Within the Linux 64 tgz is no longer a executabale file in the bin folder. No glue how to start the wallet I guess you are talking about dash-qt, right? Open terminal, navigate to that folder and run it manually via "./dash-qt" or try this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg12253785#msg12253785 if you are on Ubuntu

That's going to scale wonderfully. Imagine all the votes that won't make it into a block within the voting window. Then the reverse tactic works best: cast your votes, spam the network, choking out all the competing votes. -- Dash's DGBC model is the best voting model around. Nothing competes with collateralized masternode quorum.

Before and now! This is a sample from some of the nodes on masternode.me) Now, selections are nice and dispersed: Nice view, thanks.

Once you're in the front of the queue, you have a 1/300 chance of getting selected each block. So it's statistically likely that a few nodes will go 10+ days in between payments, but most of the network will paid within a day of getting into that queue.
Thanks for the details, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a bug. It should balance out in the end so that works for me. Got paid and all is well. Good for everyone to know that a 13 day isn't impossible. I've seen some bad luck other places like playing "black" with 49.9 / 50.1 odds and losing 29 times in a row. Had to take a screen shot to remember not to play again.

INSTAMINE ALERT
Attention: The developers and insiders scam instamined over 1.5 million DASH in the first 8 hours of launch then lied about it.
SCAM IN PROGRESS
Number of Dash instamined in the first 8 hours of launch: 1,567,052 or 27.13% of current coin supply (7.83% of TOTAL supply that will ever exist)
Number of Dash instamined in the first 24 hours of launch: 1,868,604 or 32.36% of current coin supply (9.34% of TOTAL supply that will ever exist)
The developer and insider mined 9.34% of tatal coin first 8hours. If this fact is true, this coin has 9.34% premine coin. Is it possible in coin mining schedule ? this is true and old story.. people wont care last block with faulty rules: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/block.dws?4501.htm 500 coins reward first fixed: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/block.dws?4502.htm 56 coins reward Untill 4501 block about 500 coin generated at each block :about 2,250,000 coin. That is frontier and dev team 's coin. It can be simillar premine coin thanks good information. Intsmaine and coverup.

uh................................... if you PM me a quick --- how to.... I'll compile a Pi [ARM7] version
./dashman status dashman version 0.1.7 gathering info, please wait...unknown platform: armv7l dashman currently only supports 32/64bit linux -- Exiting.
thx
It's a shell script, so there's nothing to compile. Your platform string simply has to be added here: https://github.com/moocowmoo/dashman/blob/master/.dashman-functions.sh#L164-171That will get you past this one error at least :-)

Another question if someone could answer them I would really appreciate it which is if there is no SPV wallets then how much is the size of blockchain file for what comes to Dash ? or they don't use Blockchain as BTC

It should be available in less than a week. The problem is that our implementation of the core client is vastly different than BTC, so it was a good deal of work to implement and debug. The developers are pretty much done, minus one small issue.

If they are the same developpers then it explains why Electrum for BTC became suddenly slow for updating . anyway , does the SPV wallets have the Darksend features or that would be only and only for Core ? still get an answer for the size of the blockchain file too . thanks

I'm holding off on rpi support until: the gitian build has been vetted and it's officially supported (appears on /downloads/ page) (so install and update will work) In the meantime, I'll push a rpi branch that will only run 'status' -- By tomorrow (gimme a day) you'll be able to do: dashman sync dashman branch rpi dashman status
