Yeah I am pretty sure is exactly this FPGA

http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?mpart=EP4CE6F17C7N&v=544

Which is pretty cool because the price now makes sense, and it also means you dont have to worry about them producing the first "batch" as you can get the chips from digikey right now.   Only they have the code though, but I dont think you have to worry too much about prodcution which is great.

I was able to order two of those before they sold out on that site.  It mentioned Oct 3rd but don't know if that's delivery or ship.

Will special software make them run at the higher speeds?   Anyone know?

I think I am not explaining myself very well,  FPGAs are programmable chips at a very low level, you would normally use VHDL to program them and you also need additional hardware to complete the USB miner. We don't know of any other X11 FPGA implementation besides this one.  The important thing is it is not really an ASIC which would be a single purpose chip that would only be manufactured for X11 mining that makes no sense at all and would probably be really expensive. That is why ASICs projects can so easily fail. In this case they can buy the FPGAs for cheap and program them to do X11 mining, this is quite challenging and they get all the credit for bringing it to market.

What is important is us as customers dont have to worry about them actually manufacturing ASICS we know they are just buying the FPGAs and programming them to mine X11 which is much more realistic and makes it more likely to be real, super cheap also 39 USD per unit so anyone can get access it should not be a centralization issue it could even help decentralize as I wouldn't set up a mining rig but would be willing to buy some of these cheap FPGAs.  And most importantly it also means there are NO X11 ASICS.

So these could potentially be reprogrammable by the customer then if they are not locked in some way?
Am thinking they could be modified on the fly as it where, so if X11 ever became X12, or some other algo like X13 was worth hashing,
instead of being stuck with a load of useless rigid asics, these can be modifed if neccessary, upgraded and used again?

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

I don't think the finished USB miner would be re-programmable by the user, it is also only 39 USD if we ever switch to something else then we could mine another coin or make a keychain...  although you could ask them just to confirm...

There are some useful algo's in the X11, just thinking if they could be separated by software, the FPGA can do sha3,groestl and blake for added mining diversity.

t might be there for a minute with this slow slide - might even hit 95 before we bounce....

Are you suggesting it's fake ?

There is no shortage of people waiting for a price drop to top up their shortfall for a masternode balance.

Comfortable, trustless masternode budget voting - Dashwhale.org

We are very exited to announce the launch of our new voting service, allowing you to comfortably submit your DASH budget votes via the Dashwhale website. For the setup, you simply have enter your masternode privkeys on your masternode settings page. These privkeys are encrypted in your browser with a passphrase, to ensure, that even we don't have access to your privkeys. To cast you votes, simply press the "Vote YES" or "Vote NO" button on the proposal page, enter your passphrase and you are done.

Nobody likes to fiddle around with the DASH wallet on command line, to vote for the large amount of budget proposals. We hope, comfortable & safe voting via the Dashwhale website, will further improve voting activity.

https://www.dashwhale.org

Special thanks deserve UdjinM6 (raw voting and js signing) and Evan (concept of trustless voting).

Best,
Rango

P.S. Feel free to audit the javascript code and client/server communication. If somebody want's to post the screenshot on my behalf: https://www.dashwhale.org/downloads/dw_screenshot7.png I still can't post screenshots due to some kind of image post lock.

We further improved voting based on your suggestions. All proposals, where you did not vote, are now highlighted on the budget overview page. So you easily see, where you still have to cast your votes.

Best,
Rango
