Is this the market telling me somewhat impolitely that I'm not getting the 0.008-range priced top up I needed for a collateral multiple ?
I cought just pennies at 0.009-range and my BTCs arrived at exchange just moments ago if it makes any easier to you :-) Actually like I trigerred avalanche by bying 11‚DASH at Cryptsy hahah It is fun to watch but I don't get this price movement. BTC has - at Cryptsy - also skyrocketed and is now trading at $260.00 (??) while the average price is about $237.00. DASH is (Cryptsy also) at $2.60 while the price elsewhere is around $2.38. Even if the people are panicking due to that fraud investigation news, what are they doing on Cryptsy to cause such a spike? Panic conversion from FIAT to !FIAT I guess

Anyone having delays withdrawing funds?

I just suggested to Kraken they open up to DASH right about now as Cryptsy appears to doomed. If they incapable of seizing this moment then I don't know what to say. I did most of my trading of DRK and now DASH on Cryptsy and for a while now have emptied my balances and now have not intention of moving anything back into them. Having been a long time Kraken customer I no longer have the energy to find another exchange and open up an account to do anything further. I suggest others also give Kraken a nudge about this now.

I've been trying for ages, they're a bit dismissive about it. Hopefully the upcoming talks at FinTech and the next development roadmap will change their minds. I love Kraken to death. Hate their interface, but love how open they are regarding their security and business model. they're not into it to attract big number of customers, but to be a super safe and accountable platform. They also have a BTC dark pool, that alone should earn them mother than 10k little alt-coin traders. As soon as Dash gains real world traction, I have no doubt they'll jump in

Talked with one of their people via chat... "As far as I know we don't have plans to add new pairs in the next few months, but I will definitely run this by our product/revenue team"

Homero Garza said the exact same thing. Verbatim. The article clear states paper work is expected to flow forward to them in 2016 anyway.

What makes Kraken such a safe exchange?
There is no shuch thing as safe exchange (centralised) so far. Only decentralised could be. Kraken had no issues so far...

When cryptsy goes under, based on current volume, looks like poloniex (irony no?) will be the next in line as the No1 for volume DASH.
Of course that assumes cryptsy folk will migrate there.
Why poloniex, why not Dashcurex

This is what I mean What makes them super safe like you just said? Various reasons, all curiously surrounding the trust issue. To use an exchange, you need to trust it. I trust Kraken because - It's run by Jesse Powell, with a solid and proven track record. - Kraken has a 100% solid track record. - They do not engage in super crazy volume hunt. - US/German based, with solid banking partners. - They were chosen to handle the Mt.Gox claim case, so that means the US/Japanese government did it's homework and chose Kraken to handle the cryptos. - They are constantly in the front line of regulatory acceptance, which speaks volumes for the quality of their CxO's - You can at any time audit your account to verify if you do actually have your funds as displayed. Some other exchanges have merits too, and I'm only talking about the "serious" of them, Finex, Stamp, Polo etc. To this day, the only major exchange that has never been hacked is Kraken. So in a trustless environment where you still need trust to perform price discovery, Kraken is #1 in my top 3 trust billboard. Probably last in GUI though.

I can see they have Eth markets. So they are open to adding new coins.
