I have a Baikal quad mining Dash, it has 600 MH/s and I get roughly ~0.2 Dash/day on average. Although the diff and hashrate are going up so in reality it's probably a little bit less per day.

BTC had a big selloff. If that is now over, and it looks like it is, obviously some funds will be sucked back from alts.

Shorting is not so wise though, unless you have deep pockets.

Yeah, I've made some good money on Dash but I'm out. I can't see this price sticking without widespread adoption, it's fuelled entirely by speculation and liable to crash again if people starting buying back into BTC.

It does bode well for the future though, that people jumped to Dash as the primary alternative.

You are wise to get out for now. It is not wrong to take such a good profit, and I hear that a lot of the big shorts have finally been forced to buy. They may have been burnt badly enough to stop them going back in for now, so the price will have lost that potential support.
