OK, I'm many beers in, but I think I've tweaked the stock P2Pool website to be a bit more fun It might be a bit dark.... Anyway, let me know what you think http://darkcoin.kicks-ass.net:7903/static <-- I probably need to alias that better If you make a design, I will use it for p2pool-drk repo. You can use just http://darkcoin.kicks-ass.net:7903 Oh, after reload, I can see dark. I should add Darkcoin logo.

I should add Darkcoin logo.
Good idea.... Did we ever decide which one is the official logo?

Silly me, I went to n00bnoxious' paper wallet, and made a couple of test wallets, I sent some small amounts into them then I quickly realized I wouldn't be able to retrieve the coin!
Is there a way to create a wallet with the password created with the paper wallet? I didn't realize it wasn't functional! Ugh, LOL. Too bad, 'cause I'd love to put the little I have into cold storage, but only if I can get it out again!
https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com/wallet-tutorial-add-withdraw-funds/By importing pvrivate key to wallet. Thank you for answering, but isn't that for bitcoin? I made a darkcoin paper wallet, from n00bnoxious' fork You can do it from darkcoin-qt wallet. If importprivkey is not in menu, you can use debug window. importprivkey <darkcoinprivkey> [label] [rescan=true] Awesome, I assume I need a fresh wallet for that? Thanks!

For the past week or so, every time i look in my daemon log I see getblocks looping over and over like this: getblocks 32630 to 00000000001322db2eaaa14488bb1c6b9cbbf0dece202854a4f12ac95e8ee002 limit 500 getblocks stopping at limit 33129 000000000081fa565ff93d7d07338db7f303c9fd7dcf62d176ba6dd7b7f3fb36 getblocks 32630 to 00000000006757584d898ddc59cf1a248dd09a076644674a2fe00c022e762eb3 limit 500 getblocks stopping at limit 33129 000000000081fa565ff93d7d07338db7f303c9fd7dcf62d176ba6dd7b7f3fb36 getblocks 33130 to 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 limit 500 getblocks stopping at limit 33629 00000000005879f804f733223f51952e1e4a61d0913ec7b276fc191c6e1022d5 getblocks 33630 to 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 limit 500 getblocks stopping at limit 34129 0000000000d139439848767ec15338e0e3d47c006edc94df35070aa55674d5f5 getblocks 34130 to 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 limit 500 getblocks stopping at limit 34629 0000000000ccaa23c05f6c7f1c947dd6b14f302e1f4526eb7876c992df21bd6f getblocks 32630 to 00000000001322db2eaaa14488bb1c6b9cbbf0dece202854a4f12ac95e8ee002 limit 500 getblocks stopping at limit 33129 000000000081fa565ff93d7d07338db7f303c9fd7dcf62d176ba6dd7b7f3fb36 Some sort of DoS? It uses a relatively large amount of bandwith. From the peers list, it looks like they (sometimes more than one) are stuck on block 36734. Maybe something could be added that will ban a node with such behavior?

It looks like our dumping whale-bot on cryptsy has finally exhausted itself. Wonder where the price will end up, it's been shackled down to 0.00125 for so long.

I've been babysitting it with the BTC paid funds from the T-shirt buy, neutralizing the .16drk sells.

I keep reading people saying that the people who mined in the first 24 hours of this coin mined 2 million coins, so I just couldn't believe that could be true. The highest block reward was 500 coins, I remember the difficulty going up pretty quickly, but even if it didn't, and the block reward stayed at 500 coins, the most that could have been mined is 288,000 coins.
I just want to set the record straight. People really exaggerate - a lot!
It was around 1.85M coins in first 24h. 2M after 2 days -- the difficulty had kicked in by then.

Ok, so I was a bit bored and instead of idling on reddit and looking up coinmarketcap every 2 minutes, I tried something. It's just a rough copy where I copied most of the /r/DRKcoin and just used a different stylesheet which was already a almost complete layout. I think the header could be better, but aside from that, I think it's much more user friendly than the current scheme especially since a new, brighter website is about to launch https://i.imgur.com/KADMbx1.pngWhat do you think? That's really good. I'll PM you, we can change the existing colour scheme to this.

Raising money for crowdsourced logo design on designcrowd.comAs per the timeline here, first step is getting some crowdsourced logos to pick from. I currently have 272 DRK redirected from bounties for this, and I need around 600 to kick this off. Currently at 408 / 600 DRK for logo design. Xc8xGSP7FwWGPQpgw298z7NYdA8xJK8ooh

once a week 50% of the fees, will be drawn, to one lucky winner... is it your turn next?[/center]
Hi CHAOSiTEC, Could you pls explain how the draw is made and the winner chosen? Do all workers have the same chance regardless of hashrates? Also, what is the minimum amount of mining time required to be eligible for the draw? Cheers Each user, not miner, gets 1 lottery ticket per day mining, after mining for 1 week, you would have 7 tickets. each time, i generate a list with the usernames listed x number of times ( = number of lottery tickets) then i use random.org's list randomizer, and random.org's integer generator, to select the winner :-) Thanks for the reply. I wonder if you might livestream the draw every week for a) transparency and b) drama! I was on lotterymining b4 but began to suspect my chances of winning would rise if my bitcointalk handle matched my lotterymining username (which it does not). I wondered if an anonymous user would win at all! So… Q1. would you consider streaming to draw for all to see? Q2. Max 7 tickets per user per draw?? thanks

Someone with knowledge, please give us a comparison:
Darkcoin vs. Anoncoin
in regards to - security - level of anonymity - dangers - protocoll features - client features ...
