where my darkcoin gone?

I have sent 200 DRK to XifyGqKq43SZe1gwDGPLjoQy5rtXwL1sr7
here is the information from wallet(in chinese) with 53 confirmation:

where are my coins?
What can I do?

Hi, is that an exchange deposit address? If it is, it probably just sends the coins you deposit immediately to a safer wallet. Ask the exchange support why you can't see the coins in your balance.

Well, during the 95 difficulty, almost everybody else bailed waiting for block 15200. I decided for the benefit of all to do what I can to push to 15200. I lost over $500 in lost revenues, but I figured we cant just be stranded for a week! Plus when we finally got there I would be able to recoup at least some of the lost revenues with more DRK.

I could have simply pointed my servers elsewhere during this drought, but I am a team player and I want to help DRK succeed. I only discovered it two days ago, but already I feel this community has great potential. With the exception of the whale and the Ddos'er.

If you feel that I have been wronged, please donate to: Xj4KK1vzBebvGrg8c5h4rr5C8kzXDojruK
I doubt I will ever recoup the $500, but if any large holders of DRK want to make a block sale at a friendly price, PM me
1000 DRK sent.  Thanks for all your hard work.  I hope others donate to you as well.
A trip down memory lane.

One day I suspect people will be pointing and laughing at me like they do the bitcoin pizza guy.

Heh.

You have a heart of gold. <3

I'm in the DRK very long term, possibly with a large part as a permanent store of value - as weird as it may sound.
If nothing bad happens, I can't see the point of changing all into BTC, or worse yet FIAT and get all the money on the whim of banks/gov.
Private, anonymous store of value and transactions...can't get much better than that.

I got several colleagues, friends, family with sizeable stashes into crypto too (they mostly got DRK, and a bit of BTC too), none so far even think about selling too, most is long term, on 1-2 year "schedule"

LOL !! This is cool. "Follow the white rabbit".

BE SMART, USE DASH ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Anyone tried syncing from scratch with 175 masternodes? It's impressively fast!  Grin

I re-loaded my chain from behind tor in just a few minutes. Amazingly fast.

Caveat; without an addnode=23.23.blah.blah in a darkcoin.conf, it won't even start. Tor or no tor. Was a bit miffed.

A thought and honest question to all GPU miners supporting the DRK network:

Are you mining this coin in a profitable manner? If not, why are you continuiing to mine DRK, instead of simply buying?

Good to see so many traders are profiteering on the wild ride, but as a miner I have only lost money mining DRK.
No matter how valuable I think DRK is, I can/should no longer support it through mining.

As a miner I'm an essential element of the DRK eco-system, without us there is no DRK.
No network, no security, no transactions, no minting.
Unfortunately, we loose money all the way through.
Two months ago, last month, today, next month.

And the traders are hyping and cashing in hard on this coin, providing no intrinsic value to the DRK eco-system (?)

Considering hedge mining profitable, implies one does not understand that it's still (much) better to buy DRK now with the same capital than to invest in mining.
My personal situation is that I cannot even break-even on a daily basis (power cost), let alone have my investment back.
Just stating a fact. I'm still supporting the network currently.

How many miners have been supporting DRK in the past months running an unprofitable setup like I have?
Most people can't or don't bother to calculate if they're profitable or not, they usually find out the hard way after they already made the investment and for unclear reasons somehow continue after all. How do you see this network growing with many? GPU miners wondering if they should continue mining?

The miners should just continue to loose money while others are making huge gains simply buying?

So (most) miners loose money, yet we are a fundamental layer in the DRK eco-system..
So (most) buyers/traders gain money, but what's the value to DRK..

Miners = sheeple ? :|

My DRK 0.02.

going by this graph, i think nows the time to sell and then reinvest when it crashes

dont tell them sssssst

Great post, thank you.

Yeah you're right, drk looks like it is about to come crashing down! Probably a good time to sell before everyone else does. Cheers
wanna get in ? Grin

nope i am still in the process of getting out actually Smiley

me too...i'm quite worried that darkcoin is going to look quite silly as an anonymity solution when monero hits the exchanges...Dark has had a good run, but yeah now would be a good time to unload

Its been rising too fast its too unsustainable, the dump is just around the corner.
And this is coming from someone that likes darkcoin.

This is what you don't see because of ratio....

If you look at the charts you can see it has a big steep climb then a sell of then it goes back up again. But if it was a real bubble. It would have collappsed at that moment. But instead the coin goes sideways and goes up but this time in a less steep way.
