Without being mean or anything, can anyone explain in plain English what exactly Mastercoin does?  It's worth a lot (~$26 a coin) but I can't get the idea behind it.  I'm wondering how it's worth so much?

I went to the website, but it doesn't make sense to me, I am too ignorant I guess?

Looks like pie in the sky junk to me. Kind of like, Ripple or Counterparty, but even less useful. "Buy Mastercoins in order to,er... buy Bitcoins!"

Hi, how does DRK compare to Bytecoin (BCN) and it's existing forks (Monero, Quazar, Fantomcoin.. etc).
Why should I invest on DRK and not any of these, or future Zerocash? Price seems to high for me to get a strong position, missed the boat i think. I dont buy the retarded 1DRK= 1BTC predictions. There was some guy saying it would go up to 3-4 BTC. lol

I can't make any transactions.. just getting "transaction too large" error, what do I need to do to get this to work? (Sending less than my balance with a .1 fee)

there is a box checked next to amount --darksend. Uncheck that and you're good to go. Can't darksend >10 right now.

thank you I imagine that would solve the issue most of the time, but I am on the latest stable release not the darksend wallet; there is no darksend option at least not that I am seeing.

what version of wallet ??

GUys you must understand that you can't just delete darkcoin.exe wallet and download new and expect to sync!!!

1st show hidden folders
then go users/app data/roaming/Darkcoin

in that folder (DARKCOIN) delete everything except wallet.dat

THEN you start new wallet that you downloaded and let it SYNC from start!

it must work!!!!

Lol @ second rate. Darkcoin makes Darkwallet look like a Fisher Price toy.


It's a centralized alpha version of a product which most people in bitcoin won't be using. Darkcoin is way more advanced and getting even better and has privacy as a default, not an option. That means no other transaction can link to you since they are all darksent.
