There's no way this coin is like the other coins. This coin is different and will keep going up, this is awesome!
This growth rate can't be sustained. The price has almost doubled in 24 hours. And block reward halved in the same period... with the new nvidia miners round the corner making big gains in hashing power, it seems we go from 7000 coins per day to just 2880 (contrast that to 28.800 litecoins which require 288.000$ daily to be purchased off the market). Btw, I don't think people realize that Darkcoin is actually ...3$ cheaper than DOGE (if DOGE's monetary supply was adjusted to 4.3mn coins). I like your perspective AGR. Can you outline the effect of 1% of Bitcoin market going to an anonymous coin? I know you've done it before - it's an eye opener! |

Good chance of meeting or exceeding DOGE's marketcap of 30-40mil usd. presently at 13-14mil. Which means something like $10 a coin.. a price similar to litecoin. I'm sorry but a price similar to LTC would put DRK at $75 per coin. I personally think LTC is overpriced and DRK is way underpriced. But it's gonna take weeks if not months to get anywhere near the same universe of that price in a healthy manner. |

Reading this thread and watching the DRK Cryptsy charts are by far the most interesting part of my day at the moment!
I knew there was something special about this coin and I'm so glad I persisted mining with it for the last couple of months.
I've said it before but i'll say it a gain, Evan Duffield is a genius and the DRK community are great.
I'm still kicking myself that i sold off about 20 DRK that i'd mined at 0.0012...about 12 hours before they spiked to .002!
Don't feel bad, I sold about 400 at .0006 - .0008. I was going to do the same, put sell orders but in last moment withdrawed all to wallet  I don`t touch them now till 1000coins will appear there  |
