My logic on the instamine issue:

Were a bunch of coins mined at first very quickly? Yes. Do we really know for sure they were well distributed? No, although there is some evidence that suggests that.

Here's why it doesn't really matter to me:

Anyone sitting on a big stash who hasn't dumped at this point is likely going to be holding out for a much higher price (or plans on running masternodes for years to come lol). Anyone not holding out would have surely dumped by now.... the longer time goes on, the more this becomes true. I don't know how much lower this will go, but it will bottom out (all dumpers done dumped), and I think it's very unlikely that any early large holders will dump much below the previous ATH, if at all, as long as this coin stays alive and maintains good prospects for the future.

It's a non-issue as far as I can see... though I am new to DRK, cryptos, and financial markets, and my logic is frequently flawed

My point was that you make it easy for the cheerleaders to try and discredit you.  I agree with you 100%.  The issue is that there is a core group of people that were likely in on the instamine that will do anything to discredit someone that doesn't support this coin.  If you present your facts in a more professional manner you will make it harder for them to dispute those facts.

Truthfully, anyone has the right to hype the coin because their excited about such and such feature coming out. The reason why it's delayed a few days, is because a new bug was found and they're in the process of fixing it. You seem like the type of guy, that wants it to be put out immediately, so you can just join the pump and dump. Most "drk fanatics" simply want everything to come out right so it works well for the long term. So your comments, at best mickyminer, are very hypocritical. I'm sure if you were excited over a coin, you would do the same thing.

I'm glad to see the original plan to open source DRK so early on has gone out the window. The fact that nobody else has made any progress because they're just sitting around hoping to copy it gets that much more obvious.

Having an idea and making a functional cryptocurrency out of it are not even close to the same thing. I thought of the concept for masternodes years ago when I realized the bitcoin blockchain wasn't going to fit on my android... But I'm not a programmer. Does that mean I'm the inventor? Maybe I should have started a shitcoin back then and pumped and dumped it? I have about as much programming skills as all the other copypasta losers you're touting...

The difference is, I'm not a dickwipe. I also am not an asswipe, so I don't promote dickwipes.

I even tried to have a conversation with a few of the trolls about these good ideas that aren't materializing. But as soon as they figured out the point I was making, they either disappeared or reverted back to obvious troll is obvious. Half truths fell apart, they went to default.

We don't NEED a ground-up re-write of crypto. Those who wish to wag their epeen by re-inventing the wheel will be left flapping in the breeze. There is no demand for what they are developing and there are serious flaws with it that do not exist when extending an existing tech.
