Interesting, but what does this mean? Will you be licensed in USA? Yes. We can’t share any details because of NDA’s. But we hope to launch in the US market very soon. What are NDA's?

I think i managed to get the local/remote MN setup working, at least the MN is shown in the masternode list, and i cant see any logs with errors (only have debug.log and db.log).. any way to really confirm its working before 20th? Running netstat shows active tcp connections both to and from the MN on port 9999, so im guessing it works..? Answered ? Check your remote ip is listed in. https://elbzo.net/masternodes.htmlhttp://drk.poolhash.org/masternode.html

I knew you'd come over to the d[a]rk side eventually... ;-) Just keeping an eye on things. I would actually prefer 1 more layer of master nodes in the tx process so that a trusted node could be used for the initial transaction. If I understand things correctly and the master node your transaction randomly ends up using is malicious, you are no more secure than using Bitcoin. That's sort of like rolling the dice with your anonymity on every tx. With so few master nodes and the hurdle to run one acting as an artificial price stimulus, the risk is pretty high to warrant an investment to enter the space. FYI: Evan's reply https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg6815040#msg6815040I think we'll always have 70-80% of the masternodes operatored by individuals even after they're really expensive to run. But when they get that expensive, it would be nice to have some kind of alternative for investors/supporters. It also increases the overall capitalization of the masternode network, which is really good for the coin. Otherwise this is going to become something just for large investors really quick, so I think it's a good compromise.
PS, masternode centralization in the future doesn't cause any problems for darkcoin. I have 2 possible solutions to evaluate for V2 of darksend (ring signatures and encrypted system where the users themselves do the joining relayed through the masternodes.) . Both of these make the masternodes unaware of who is sending money to whom, so centralization isn't an issue at that point.

The second part should be noted by those who poo-poo multi-entry. Tante... As long as the nodes are ignorant, it doesn't matter if there are only 10 and the NSA owns them all... Still secure and anonymous. No, it's not like that right now, but that's the plan. People still don't seem to understand that DRK is Alpha software with new ideas never done before... In February masternodes were just "part of the plan." Now what are they? I love that popping sound...

my understanding is to run darksend at least twice. It would require collusion between owners of MN 1 and 2 for the transaction to be revealed.

Ah, thank you Propulsion Mr. President, I didn't read that part about the nodes being unable to influence or gather info. Yes, if that were the case, I agree that it wouldn't matter how many there were.

Thanks! We will keep you updated We are going through accelerator session in the Bay Area. Would be good if coins are on blockchain. Yes! We are currently reworking our security model in such way that we'll have no control over user funds, like blockchain.info If you want to know more about it, you can check Andrey's interview from last week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQ1-6IFoUig

Thank you Dr. dstorm and President Chaeplin p2pool Node http://54.186.8.140:7903/static/ updated with latest darkcoind and RC3 ready p2pool is there anyone here who is versed on some of the technical aspects of this crypto?
Several members have knowledge of technical aspects but obviously Evan can explain the finer details. If you had any questions, feel free to post them so all of us can participate and educate each other I miss the days when AnonyMint and others were hashing out some of the early framework/architecture through open dialogues.
