Linux... you kidding? linux is vulnerable too.
Linux is only as vulnerable as it's operator.

Microsoft only fixes problems when Microsoft is forced to admit them. There are dozens of attack vectors you can't seal because you don't know about them and never will.

Of course both are vulnerable. The matter is that on Linux you can do something about it. On Windows you only get placebo/false sense of security.

But fools will be fools. Stolen DRK will undoubtedly end up in an exchange for me to buy at some point... So go ahead and use Windows with all the aftermarket Unicorns and Fairy Dust you like... More DRK for me.

If you even ask the question "Can I run a MN on Winblows?" You're definitely very, very, very unqualified to run a MN. But go ahead and let your greed push you to do stupid things. Lack of discipline... Your loss is my gain.

If you want to make money running a masternode, don't take shortcuts. Pull your head out of your ass and LEARN. There is no shortcut.

You don't know what you are talking about or you forgot something.
But i talk about the security only, not MN.

Damn volume is low... Had a stack of bullshit guvpaper finally convert to real money and I can't buy in without crapping on my own buy values...

You can if you do it slowly (but soon).

For the past 16 hours there seems to have been a subtle bearbot on mintpal gently selling down to just over 0.017 whenever the price went above that, but not selling below, just waiting for the next buyer to push above 0.017 then selling again. With the volume quite low that would have been enough to keep a steady roof on the price. If this is indeed the case, and if all else remains as it has been, then once that bot runs out of however many DRK it wants to sell, we are likely going up.

Market engines on pre-ignition warm up.

4 hour correction cycle approaching it's 3-day close without a major stumble. 12 hour long and short momentum averages are buttered on and don't appear to offer impediment to any prospective market enthusiasm.

Likeways with short range charts which appear to have rinsed out any pent up correction ready to pull the last couple of bars of the 4 hour MACD histogram out of the mud.

Market depth starting to thicken - 14k bids vs 13k asks - from 8k / 8k 2 nights ago, so reinforcements have arrived at both fronts and something is clearly afoot.

It's an amber trading alert. Expect engine spool up over the next 24 hours and a possible fifth assault on on the 18 resistance.

I don't own a mac, I believe Chaeplin does and it's working for him. Regardless, this is what I found after some quick research.

Try this taken from Mac website. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3941688?start=60&tstart=0

Close all windows.

Keychain Access ->  click on System Roots on the left, and then click on Certifcates on the bottom left.

Check to see if any of the certificates on the right have the blue "+" symbol - this means they have custom trust settings.

There is a bug in changing the policies, so you'll have to change them via the method below.  Changing them just by changing the access to "system defaults" doesn't seem to save.  The method below worked for me.

Double-click on each certificate with the custom setting (blue "+"), expand the section labled "trust".  Change the "Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)" setting to "no value specified".  Close window - you should be prompted for the password.  Double-click on the certificate again, expand trust, change the "When using this certificate" setting to "Use System Defaults".  Close window, and re-enter password.

If you didn't re-enter your password upon closing the window, the setting didn't take.  The blue "+" should disappear after a few seconds when it's set back to default.  Once all of the certificates are changed back to default, restart Safari.

Works fine for me on Mac with Chrome.  Android Chrome hasn't worked for a couple days, I'll see if I can figure out how to do the equivalent on there.  Sucks because my work has the site blocked and I can only access from my phone during the day.

Ouch !! ... if you cross reference that with ASIC supplies, near tape-outs, and dramatic diff increase, makes perfect sense. LTC is going down.

Basically yes, that LTC is the silver to BTC's gold. For the most part, it seemed to trade at a similar ratio, about 1:60 like the current gold:silver ratio. Hard reality for a coin that has to deal with 28,800 new coins daily and no new features to boot.

Wow. And I thought Crapple sucked less than Microshaft...
Dude...
You'd think they would fix something like that... Serious issues caused, very easy to fix... Makes you wonder about the rest of it...
Chill out dude. Life is too short.
Fewer words than you dedicated to the reply...

Is there a phobia to change, especially change of how to use a computer?  Well if there is, I must say my husband has it.  And despite that, I got him using Ubuntu on our laptop!  Still a bit nervous and asks me a lot of questions, but I'm making progress.  How do I do it?

Well, first and foremost, my husband is a miser.
Second, he knows his XP is not very secure anymore and is paranoid his files will be stolen (he's a writer)

So how do you upgrade to a more secure modern operating system without spending money?  Linux!  And Ubuntu, when personalized to a similar setup as windows, is one of the easiest to use Cheesy  LOL

People are missing the point. Its less about features and more about usage. I could argue that every new coin to hit the market is "better" than Bitcoin because its got something Bitcoin doesn't.

Litecoin is basically a faster version of Bitcoin secured by a different algorithm. Nothing special there, but Its key feature is its community. More people are invested in litecoin than any other alt coin, and more people transact with litecoin than any other alt coin. To think mass traders are all of a sudden going to start selling Litecoin for another coin is not thinking clearly.

The way darkcoin overcomes litecoin is by outgrowing it. Usage is everything. When day to day darkcoin transactions become reality, the coin will have a shot at #2. Right now more people speculate on the price then actually use it as currency.
