00smurf: sdc team is 8-9 people.

that's realy a big team. If we could have 11 or more full time darkcoin developer , we could move forward very very fast.
Evan, go for it.

I am still puzzled that Evan would even consider an offer like this in the first place. Makes me wander (i know all of you gonna call this absurd and conspiracy theory)  if those folks have some type of absurd 'screenshots" on Evan as well? Was he blackmailed into this 'deal'? Just curious.

I just compiled the SDC QT wallet and am not seeing any of this alleged eyecandy? I see a bog standard bitcoin wallet with a dark theme and a chat tab.

I made an encrypted p2p chat app in python in under a day a few months ago. Don't speak c++ so can't add it to the DRK QT wallet but it would be simple for anyone that could code in c++

I'm struggling to share the optimism here, or see much value in the proposition as it stands.

This is what the wallet looks like for me.

You downloaded old wallet this is how it looks.. First Html5 overhaul of the wallet

tbh thats not a bad looking wallet...

Yeah that's actually really sharp. How did you get that? All I did was compile the source from github. What else is needed?

maybe the darkcoin team and shadowcoin team can form a strategic alliance and lent out some of their
developers (they seem to have 8 or 9) for a short term period to help out the darkcointeam with wallet
GUI development and maybe other technical development ?

Not sure what the darkcointeam could do for shadowcoin team though.. maybe help them with Instant Tx in the
near future ?

Well, even if there was some blackmailing, I would personally stand behind Evan and support him. Would not doubt him (no matter what screenshot or 'evidence' etc is presented) and would not dump a single Darkcoin. In fact, if some starts to dump, I would take a loan if necessary and buy those coins. That's how much most of the Darkcoin community trust in Evan.

Yeah that's actually really sharp. How did you get that? All I did was compile the source from github. What else is needed?

It's html5, you point your browser at localhost:portnumber to connect to the daemon server, like NXT etc. Layout is easier in some ways and you can do video/audio a bit easier etc. but you're introducing megabytes of browser code between you and your money...

It looks shiny, but who wants a fucking media player in their wallet? I can play video on every widget surface in my pyQT simple wallet, but it's of no actual use...

It doesn't help me when you don't list the channel on IRC. Is the HTML5 wallet open source? Can it be compiled from github?

Really nice design.

So instantx, being one of the most desired features in crypto, being implemented in other coins? Granted, the source will be open and the very structure is based off masternodes, but trying to help another coin implement it seems counterproductive from an investment standpoint. Next are we going to start doing code reviews?

Stick to what we know and move forward. The market will continue weeding out the coins that aren't going to make it and there will be no shortage of devs. If DRK really is destined to be a number 2 coin to bitcoin, being part of the official dev team will be ample bragging rights for any dev to want to offer up their skillset.

ShadowDarknet ?

Just kidding.

As far as the document goes.

If you notice it was Dan Metcalf that leaked the Drk-sdc proposed merger talks when he leaked his conversations about the XC-sdc proposed merger.

No one is blackmailing anybody. Shadow pulled out of blocknet because of the facts that have been presented. Shadow chose not to be part of an alleged scam.

I don't think anybody here is against working with you guys. The only thing was the messing with coin supply issue. Dakrcoin community now is discussing different ways of raising funds for attracting more devs.

I agree is about messing with the coin supply not the devs
